Madrid media trying to counter the rape allegations with Negreira news, the propaganda machine is so predictable

Nothing is more predictable than your wacky conspiracy theories and weird connections you keep drawing between unrelated events.

Celebrities having rape dungeons on private islands was also once a conspiracy.

Every time there is uncomfortable news for Madrid or they lose points they whip out the Negreira case to deflect. That is hardly a conspiracy, just an observation.

Articles about Barça's legal woes are printed weekly across the world, with pro-Madrid media being just one of many outlets reporting on them. These cases pop up all the time in French media. Also the New York Times literally just did a piece covering all of Barça's pending cases, including an update on the Negreira case.

The fact is, Barça has eight ongoing cases being investigated by different bodies across various jurisdictions, none of which have anything to do with Madrid. Acting like this is all part of some Real Madrid smear campaign IS a deflection that Barça is using to downplay the seriousness of these investigations.

I have read the article and AS literally provides no new information they just do a round-up of what we already know whenever Madrid is in a pickle. You act like a child that doesnt know how media control the narrative but truth be told I never expect more from Madrid fans.

What you quoted is the May story when the Barcelona court ruled that Barça cannot be investigated for bribery charges (due to a technicality) but the remaining charge of sports corruption is still very much on the table and will soon go to trial. Here's an actual quote from the article:  "Barca say this case is still at a pre-trial stage and they are therefore unable to set a value on potential financial and sporting consequences."
Again, the point is that this is an ongoing case that is still being reported on by major outlets all over the world. I read two articles about it this week and neither came from "Madrid" media.

It's ironic really, the media manipulation, deflection and narrative control we're witnessing here is being done by Barca. Their media celebrated the May ruling as if it were an exoneration and an end of the investigation when it was merely the dropping of one charge (again, due to a technicality https://www.catalannews.com/society-science/item/barca-bribery-charges-dropped-in-negreira-case-barcelona-court-says ) They've systematically underplayed or flat out ignored every development in the case since then and even gaslit their fanbase into believing this was some zombie case that was being kept alive in the media by their evil rival.

Being the good guy victim is so integral to this club's identity that they make these leaps of logic that only make sense to them and their fans. Anything bad happening to them can be blamed on the Madrid boogeyman without a second thought. You say you don't expect much from Madrid fans but what should we expect from a fanbase that seriously believed their players were only being charged with tax evasion because the judges were Real Madrid fans? How do you reason with such a delusional and conspiratorial group of people?

A club with 8 pending investigations, three indicted presidents, a slew of financial mismanagement issues, and a long history of unscrupulous media tactics ranging from smearing their own players to leaking their contract details as a pressure tactic, can still point the finger to someone else and accuse them of being corrupt and immoral. It's truly fascinating.

You're arguing against a claim that I didn't posit (you're good at doing that). I'm not downplaying the charges themselves, I'm not claiming that Madrid keeps the case alive and I never claimed that they are at fault for it. Those are things that you keep adding yourself.

The Catalan article clearly explains that the case will continue as a sports corruption case so idk what you're on about either. The club celebrated the verdict but not so much the media. You linked to some fringe "Catalannews" outlet that covers the case more honestly and equitably than any Madrid medium.

My observation was only that RM mouthpieces such as AS and Marca do a round-up of what we've already known about the case for months to distract from any inconvenient developments that may involve the club (that you personally don't see or read these is irrelevant). I'm not saying Catalan media may not also be guilty of it. Next week if we drop points there may be a surge of rapey davey articles and we'll talk about that instead.

Anyway this is not the negreira case thread. It's a thread about how Mbappe doesnt want to merely copy CR, he wants to become CR.

Ok this has reached crisis status at this point. His finishing has fallen off a cliff since April and there are no signs of recovery.

With finishing like that we'll never win anything. He should probably take a back seat and become the "Robin" until he gets his confidence up.

That's what I was hoping too. Vini is our inform guy, having him on the wings putting "crosses in" was never going to help us.

fact is that Mbappe is a huge disappointment. the 8 offsides tell us all we need to know. Typical Perez buying galaticos with no consideration as to fit within team. Mbappe not only has affected the play if others, he also has disturbed the team chemistry. Perez should own up to his error and pursue Haaland and put Mbappe up for sale!

Never mind the finishing, the EIGHT offsides tell the story. Lewa showed how to make the run, laterally and then forward or delay the run until ball is touched. You would think a proven player would know the basics or at least realize the error after the first or even the second offside!
