Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
it was all going so good... Beautiful goal from Saka, White shoulda made it 2-0... and then our defense fucks it up by gifting them two goals...
Bayern look weak in midfield and defense, but dangerous on the counter... all about how we respond now

Things are not looking well over in London and who else but Kane. Great start by us but that early conceded goal will bite us back surely. Vini and Bellingham got to pull it together. Very optimistic as of today

Not a good result for RM. Great game... but you have to win at home. City is half as good on the road compared to home. They haven't lost a game at home since forever but already lost 3 I believe on the road this season.
Going to be a hard one.
Tchouameni suspended for return leg too.
I want Haaland to leave City. The way he's used is a disgrace for a player like him.

As far as Arsenal... i saw them as the underdog in this one anyhow despite Bayern struggles in Bundi. Just do not have the experience in CL.

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
Well we were always going to be the underdogs in this tie as City are the current behemoth of football. fucking Julian Alvarez entered the match in the 80th minute and he would easily start in any other team.
I do think the second leg wont be as one-sided as last year as we're clearly stronger this season but short of a Madrid CL magic i expect us to go out. Bellingham had a stinker btw, expected better from him. Lunin has been so good in Courtois' absence but he also showed his inexperience on that first goal.

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
If the matches stopped at the 60th minute mark I'd be pretty happy with the results, but fairly open still.
Thought arsenal were by far better than Bayern, they were the ones always pushing and creating chances. If they can do it again in Munich and actually get the result they deserve remains to be seen.

Tuchel's Bayern is worthless.
Thoroughly outplayed by Arteta with a weaker squad pound for pound.

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
Bayern started Eric Dier ffs. If anyone has a weaker squad its them. Arsenal has a pretty impressive squad considering they can bring on the likes of Trossard and Jesus as subs nowadays. If anyone was an underdog in that match especially at Emirates, especially the way both teams' forms were, it was clearly Bayern. Arsenal fans on Twitter were trending shit like PrayforBayern XD. Thats how conifdent they were. IMO Tuchel was pretty good yesterday. He got his tactics spot on. Arteta meanwhile had no clue what to do until Jesus produced a moment of brilliance for their 2nd goal. Arrogant Ars fans are saying they will win in Munich now lol.

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
we play the occasion not the game... we play outside of ourselves, got invested into the emotion of the game, hence lost out minds defensively... happened against Porto, happened yesterday... yes @Glory we are the form team, but as much as i don't like to admit it @sportsczy analysis is correct in that experience in this competition is a key factor

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
KDB was ill but should be ready for the return leg. I think the chances are 80-20% in City's favor given they play at home now. Pep adjusted at HT and City controlled for a good period afterwards. Both sides scored some pretty lucky goals so not gonna say anyone got overly fortunate here. Not impressed with RM overall performance-wise but they always find a way to score.

What an entertaining night of CL football.
I am most impressed by Real Madrid. It is easy to forget all that they're missing cause they've been missing it all the time.
They have no strikers ffs

Seeing Haaland performance I'm not sure City have a striker either

Re: 23/24 UCL Knockout Stage
Haaland is just not a good fit for City style of football, he would probably do better in teams that rely on pure speed and counter attacks.

Brainfart move, very lucky ref didnt give penalty for this.

Haaland would be a killing machine in Klopp's Liverpool

Now this is great.
What is right here? The ref not following the rules blindly and changing the game completely over a silly misunderstanding or saying rules are rules, it was a penalty and there's no way around it...

I really thought that Donnarumma would surpass Buffon when he was still at Milan.
He could have as well...
