Their passing in the final third has been spectacularly awful

Playing with kroos and modric in big games is asking for slow motion football.

Does Camivinga have some sort of injury? The commentators saying he does hence affecting his performance here, he was immense in the first leg...
Basically Man C have been a different team, too cautious in the first leg. Real bossed the d and wings physically but Man C definitely winning on both wings..
Perfect first half
KEEP IT MAN C~ CL N LEAGUE DOUBLE COMING UP~

I think Kroos has been more energetic than usual in this match. He hasn't seen a lot of the ball, but his passing has been sharp and he even ran at one point

This game prolly shows wtf Valverde has been doing in that Real midfield for sooo long... hes just not good enough n a huge weakness vs teams like Man C...

Don't worry we gonna sign Bellingham just to start modric and kroos next season

You have a weird obsession with Valverde, the problem is playing both kroos and modric when both are literal snails, there’s no pace at all from those two and it’s hurting the rest of the team

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
RM just succumbing to the pressure as a whole. Seen Kroos mess up what would otherwise be an easy outlet. RM gotta get back on it but it's starting to look bleak having City score first.

Was taken out of the game early a few days ago because of a thigh problem. Doesn't seem anywhere as quick as usual.
Bigger issue is that he as has no CM help when Silva cuts inside. That's what you're supposed to do as a fullback... funnel everything back inside (but outside the box), where you should have someone to cover. But Kroos is not there. One big empty space for him to run into.
Vini could help too... but that isn't expected lol. It has to be Kroos. You can't have no Kroos and no Vini and leave it completely to Camavinga.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
This CL would be the break through Man C n Pep finally manages if they see it through, then the mental block will be gone... then they gonna do what Real has done, win it countless times cos dont see anyone able to compete with them on n off the pitch atm? Glad though cos finally another team can stop Real from doing it lol...

It would establish English dominance in Europe should that happen likely. Inter gonna be the last barrier ahead.

Vini is the most overrated player i have ever seen for Madrid... "headless chicken" definition should have a picture of him for illustration.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Pep finally got smarter. He's playing his CB's as he should this season. Vini and Co. cant do squat against this defense. Rodri and Stones anchoring the mid. Akanji stopping Carvajal outlet and Walker is near unbeatable on speed. RM experiencing the same problem as Bayern did now.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Real done well with the new players n phasing out slowly the old? But needs to do better still cos when u see Cama playing LB with an injury it doesnt make sense, especially when u got Alaba playing CB instead of Rudiger on the bench, then two past it players in midfield who only plays every other game etc.
Anyway, hope this Real's CL invincibility is now gone finally... have had it for tooooo long... its Man C's turn now

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Real will keep winning tbh. Their prestige, heirarchy, and football heritage are going to permit them to sign the best players in the world. I doubt even Pep could do with City what Zidane did with RM. Then you have emerging powerhouse like PSG and Serie A seem to be experiencing a resurgence. We'll see tho.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Real did well when Valverde was playing as a winger (and well), Tchouameni was the holding mid and we were using our bench properly while using Kroos and Modric intermittently and for limited time.
Typical Carlo... he goes with the old players when it counts, despite HUGE signs that they don't have the legs anymore. Valverde has been shit for a while too but won't get benched.
So we lose La Liga and show poorly in CL despite making semis. Don't let beating Liverpool fool you. Liverpool aren't that great this season and were especially shit during that time period.
Carlo is NOT (and has been proven during his entire career) a manager to transition in new players unless you literally sell all the older ones. He does not change. He only uses young players for the first half of the season and, unless he's forced to, goes with all the older ones in the second half. Shows how shit Mendy (and often injured) was that he was forced to play Camavinga otherwise that wouldn't have happened either.

How in the world do you play a 3 man mid, with old Modric and Kroos, when City flood the mid with 5 players. At least put in a mid instead of Rodrygo...
