No idea but that's the same technology that we had in the CWC and the same ones they use for goal line technology.Myesyats wrote:halamadrid2 wrote:
It's already been confirmed by technology that the ball was out. No human involvement other than processing information.
What technology? Because the BeIN sports renders you posted aren't what they saw in the VAR room, are they?

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
To be fair, even if the ball was indeed out by a milimeter, that action didn't directly lead to the goal because City lost the ball afterwards and RM retrieved it
So that action wasn't actually part of the goal sequence.

Seems like a standard shove, made more dramatic by the usual Grealish theatrics.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
It did influence because that would've stopped the City attack but yh VAR can't go that far back which I buy. Still very frustrating though and the audacity of the referee to lie straight up saying the ball was never out.Myesyats wrote:To be fair, even if the ball was indeed out by a milimeter, that action didn't directly lead to the goal because City lost the ball afterwards and RM retrieved it

Yeah exactly, I'm just saying it's very far-fetched to claim you've been screwed. Carvajal should have had a yellow, Bernardo as well, the 1 milimeter out is not that obvious and was outside of VAR intervention anyway. All around the result was fair I'd say

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Looool forgot about no more away goals rule ffs So what does that mean though, if end of two legs its still draw, than its extra time n then pens? Old fashiion way? What do think of this update?
Even more funny is always seeing Real fans actually complaining about ref decisions against them also... I mean ok u got the bad luck for once by 1 mm, when over the yrs u've lucked ur way to so many of them (not taking away from the performance) but yea u had sooo much luck also as well as ref decisions going ur way its just funny to listen to any complains when its inevitable that luck turns against u sometimes?

Man these things are so minuscule talking about them just takes the fun away from the game. Neither side should be complaining about the referee. It really wasn’t that bad.
Funny enough, I feel like pep using his 3-4-1-2 would’ve worked better today. I felt like Álvarez would’ve freed up haaland and Bernardo would’ve been better in a deeper side midfield/quasi winger role in the 4. I totally understand his rationale though, he really didn’t want to overthink and I can agree with that too

What a game by Inter so far. Could've been 3-0 up already, absolutely devastating counter attacks

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Inter ain't playing today.
That Dzeko strike was something special though Calabria had no business marking him.
Mkhi just waltzing through the Milan midfield was just really disconcerting to see.
Honestly Inter should probably even be 3-0 up given Calhanoglu hit the post.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Not sure but Italian teams in general just play sooo slow its just boring to watch, how many times no matter I tried I dont find them entertaining as the other leagues With all respect just look at them strikers, all old or slow n successful The whole style of play is just so different... I know Barca got knocked out by Roma etc., but we play slow also. I just imagine any of City or Real would just spank either of these two slow ass teams to bits in the final?

So Lautaro with a dive.... perhaps not confident enough to take the chance on himself? As the WC showed hes not good enough perhaps, not like Alavrez

Yeah, correct decision by the ref suprisingly given that it's Manzano
I cant believe we were on the verge of buying Lautaro for 100m. Barca is a shambles

Commentators saying Milan is basically nothing without Leao, is this accurate? Was looking forward to a derby of old as well as watching Leao who I havent really seen... too bad...

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
A very Italian second half. Inter should have capitalized on the amateurish Milan display in the first half, should have been 3 or 4.
Also the quality discrepancy is obviious, Inter brought on Brozovic, Lukaku, De Vrij and Correa off the bench ffs.

Re: UCL semi-finals 2022/2023
Think Im gonna give up trying to watch Italian teams again after the latest try, just so zzzz
Wonder if second leg will be better... Milan narrwly beat Spurs n Napoli to get here, n Inter beat Porto n Benfica... so yea either of them wont stand a chance vs Real or Man C come the final, if we didnt all know that already, this game proved it.
Basically Man C needs to get the job done at home n Pep finally wins the CL with them~

UEFA sources have confirmed that Bernardo's ball was out, but VAR couldn't intervene as Real Madrid had the ball back and it was counted as a "new passage of play". It was a MISTAKE, but it couldn't be changed. @eurosport #rmalive pic.twitter.com/6IFIooQef5

What a story it will be , that even in today's world a team like Inter wins the CL. Specially the way these players have been recruited and the team has been built, will be great inspiration.

Manchester City look very strong at the moment will Harland, and have been in amazing form recently. I think they'll end up winning the tournament.
