Rafael Leao - The next Superstar
He's having his explosion season and has everything in his skillset to become the next big thing. Attractive name, 5 star skills, pace, and a tall mofo to top it all off.
I foresee a move to PSG in a post-Neymar era.

Re: Rafael Leao - The next Superstar
He’s turning 23 this summer which is usually in line with when wide forwards begin to explode statistically. A +20 goal season should be coming in the next 2 years.
He’s a modern winger and that’s what you need in football these days. He’s also not limited in terms of dribbling since he can dribble on the outside and on the inside. The problem with Leao wasn’t really raw talent. It was his decision making and technical inconsistency which was annoying.
I used to call him a just vibes player. Pioli said he plays with his heads in the clouds sometimes. Glad to see more consistency from him these days. +80M bid incoming in 2 years.

Re: Rafael Leao - The next Superstar
Leao's decision making, like Theo, is really what's limiting their damage. Otherwise, they are physically extremely capable.
Both are still young and should only get better with age.

Re: Rafael Leao - The next Superstar
He took on all 3 of Skriniar, De Vrij & Bastoni and burned them for that goal. Unreal.
We definitely ain't keeping him past next summer.

He is 100% getting sold and not just for sporting performances, in 2018 he unilateraly terminated his contract with Sporting due to fans invading training and violating him physically. Then after he joined Lille on a free, Sporting entered legal proceedings against him. During this whole time he played for Lille, then got sold to Milan for 25m and earlier this year. The court ordered for him to pay reparations to Lille of about 16.5m. He appealed, and it got rejected.
Now he wants Milan to settle this amount with his new contract extension, however, there is 0% of us covering that. Hence, why i think he will be sold next summer (his contract is up in 2024).
Do i want him gone? Definitely not, though the reality is he is too good to keep and he's got Mendes as his agent, Chelsea already offered to pay 80m + cover his legal settlement, but we're not accepting anything below his release clause (150m).
Now that Luis Campos is in PSG, and the fact that he was the one who bought him. I think there is an extremely high chance we see him in PSG in the future. Though this will depend on Neymar/Mbappe/Messi's future.

Re: Rafael Leao - The next Superstar
Looks impressive, but I was almost thinking are they rigging matches again in Serie A? Cos those Inter defenders were almost literally standing still letting Leao n Giroud spaces for fun... hope he does move to another league, Serie A matches are just too boring, I just to watch the match but its as always full of fouls, dives, stoppages, time wasting, mistakes, etc., despite the goals didnt find it good?
Oh and nobody is better than Mbappe, not Leao not Haaland

For me he’s the 3rd most valuable LW in the world after Mbappe and Vinicius. His skillset is absurdly unique

Fast forward a couple months and it's actually Barcelona rigging matches. Neat.BarcaLearning wrote:Looks impressive, but I was almost thinking are they rigging matches again in Serie A?
