For some really I just feel Italian sides usually lose out tempo wise to the EPL sides especially? Cant imagine them coping with this LFC's intensity, although Inter are much improved this season in that department, dont think it will be enough?

Inter in my opinion is the best italian team. If it was Juve or Milan i'd say they have no chance but Inter have the tools to squeez something out. if they play smart and without any mistake.

And in fact Barella's absence is real trouble for us. Not just because he is one of our best players, but also because Vidal is literally finished.

We needed a long time to recover after losing Gini in midfield. We have drawn few games even after taking a lead this season in EPL.
Klopp is still trying to manage the midfield with whatever options he had, there are no automatic starters alongside Fabinho.

Calhanoglu is really a different player at Inter, positive in both phases instead of a dead ball merchant

Hakan was a WC player in 2020. Created the most chances (or at least top 3) in Europe in that year. However, before that, he was wet blanket.

I honestly think we could have went with Inter to the wire if he (and Bennancer) were not injured at a key moment last year. Both came back a step below their form, and the whole team plummeted as a result.

I knew he was going to be good for Inter, but he wasn't worth the massive salary he was asking for (nor is Kessie worth his asking price).

Of course, it sucks that he went to Inter for free, the fucking snake.

This is a good match by the way. Decent chances by both teams.
