Benzema and modric are sooo goood. They are keeping RM an inch above the water.

RM poor but for Modric and Benzema, who are fantastic.

Chelsea absolutely wasteful at the end there. Mason Mount and Kai Havertz both making poor decisions when in really good positions.

Chelsea are doing fine defensively although it leaves Kroos, Modric alone outside the box

Their counters are crazy fast they take advatange of Real's fullbacks who go very deep in attacking zone. Luckily for Real Chelsea's attackers play with the head down and miss pass opportunities. Good match by them so far

Chelsea are playing so well again, their defensive structure is so good, its no wonder they are so hard to score against. Real cant get anywhere in the middle, as soon as the ball reaches anywhere near the center circle they get dispossessed, quite amazing when u think how long Modric and Kroos normally dominates the midfield. Chelsea players are machines these days, although Real are old its obvious.

Militao has no place in bring RB though wth, I thought Nacho plays there. Carvajal would make a difference.

And would love to see Ramos get a red card, havent seen that in a while now Go Chelsea~

What do you mean dumb ? As in not smart ? I don't think he's dumber than the average spanish or french guy. Hard to judge someone's intelligence just by the way he speaks in press conference nonetheless.

Madrid's fullbacks are atrocious

No support for their wingers at all, and the wingers themselves get pressured and try to FUT dribble through 4 players

Apart from Benzema, nobody in Madrid's attacking department has the capacity to make something happen, Madrid need to spend big there

I'm not up to date with the rules but if Man U and Man City / Chelsea win the 2 european cups does that mean England will have 4 + 2 teams in the CL ?( i.e 2 of West ham/Liverpool/Everton or Spurs )

That's a weird setup from Zidane. Vinicius as a sorta right wing-back and Hazard and Ramos half fit.

Vinicius can't attack the byline. Hazard is ghosting. Benz is isolated 1v3. No one is making runs into the box but him.

Chelsea look way better. You'd think Madrid has the experience to overcome this, but they just look worse. Sloppy build up and the moment they lose it they have 3 pace merchants attacking them centrally on the counter. Chilwell is also making unmarked runs from deep which constantly gives them numeric advantages approaching the box.I get why Zidane went 3 at the back because of that, but Madrid really hasn't looked good at all.

Looking at Reals bench and its quite a drop in level that we are used to seeing with Real squads in the past tbh. This lineup is the best they can afford atm, exception of Carvajal and Lucas out. Feel for Real really, now die
