Those who support or follow Madrid regularly, what is your best or regular starting XI now a days?

I don't follow football with the same intensity as before and couldn't recall any names beyond Ramos and Benzema. So, please help me out, will you.

Zidane has alternated between two XI that's worked for him so it could be any of the 2:

First is the Zdiamond:


The other is a 352


It could turn out to be any of the 2. Nobody could predict the way Zidane does things, not even himself

As for our form. It has improved alot since the start of the season. Benz is in the form of his life, the midfield are playing as well as they did back in 2017. Vini is hit and miss atm and the defence is as its always been. Good but leaky. We are going into our most decisive week with things looking very bright imo

Why doesn't Modric play at the tip of the diamond? Isn't/wasn't Valverde more of an attacker than a midfielder? Or is that just a twisted 433?

It's a very loopsided midfield. Valverde plays almost as a RM and Vini plays almost as a LW. Valverde doesn't like that role but we are better for it so it's the only way

As for why Modric doesn't play as an AM. Benz plays almost as a AM and Kroos needs help in the midfield. Casemiro is the one charging forward to get on the end of crosses. Very weird tactics I know

Not too worried about this tie. Benzema form aside there is not a single thing left about Madrid that is special, or to fear, outside of their composure in European matches now.
LFC has had a terrible season but better in Europe than in the league so not too worried about this particular face-off.

The diamond would be very tricky for us in terms of defending with our two new young CBs. But it would also give us possibilities to create more chances and would give FBs and Mane/Salah more space.

Where as, 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 or both are almost same but I dont know which top team would play 5-3-2 in CL match. It seems to be so defensive but this is exactly what we have suffered against this season. We have found this formation hard to break down and also almost all of those games have ended in losses 0-1.

I doubt we will move away from current 4-3-3. Doesn't matter what defenders we have, even the defender who was playing in 4th league just a season back, Klopp always plays 4-3-3 . With Rhys in our defence we have won 5-0 against Atalanta

It has been weird season for us. Dont know what to expect.

Strange but as always Zidane are getting the results despite all the problems. Casemiro has been immense for Real for a few years now, and nowadays gets up all the time due to the lack of goal scorers And lack of physical presence in the box to win headers.

That's bs cas mainly shoots at the edge of the box and goes up for corners, benzema is the one mainly score from headers as usual hala has lie about it, to pretend benzema isn't being the cf don't listen to him.

Benzema scored more headed goals than any cf in Europe the season after cr left, and he has scored the most headed goals on the team since, and a large majority of his goals are all in the box, what there to lie about? Being a great footballer doesn't make you a AM so dumb.

So Ramos and Hazard both not in the squad for tomorrow's game. But still very very strong squad. Let's see how our sunday league defenders survive against Benzema.
I hope Mane and Salah find their shooting boots for this one. I am sure we will create loads, it should be just a matter of scoring 1 or 2 away goals.

Dont know what to expect from this Madrid line up there. But Klopp is surely going for the kill with Keita and Jota instead of Thiago and Firmino. I love this bold line up.

Klopp thinks Keita's energy will be too much for Modric and Kroos.
