How much money can we afford to spend? We need a backup CB (hell with the way Romagnoli is playing maybe a starter) and backup ST desperately...I mentioned in the rumours thread we should pounce on Papu. Torreira too if he leaves Atletico and Arsenal still want to get rid of him.

Madrid rejects do well for us, try to get Jovic on loan imo.

We don't really need Papu but i wouldn't mind if we involved him in a Caldara swap

Milik is out of a contract in June, we can pick him up for 10m

Get Milenkovic, Fiorentina in no position to negotiate seeing their position, 25m should suffice

Get Soumare or whoever as a vice-Kessie

-Milenkovic 25m
-Papu (swap)
-Milik 10m
-Soumare 20m

Offload:
Leao 40m
Duarte: 10m

milannews.it reported that milan had 15 million budget *which was not spent during Oct market and Elliot wanted to add up to 25 million for jan. + potential sales *mussachio, duarte, krunic amongst them.

------------------

with milik milan should be cautious and not even get close to him, in 3 seasons he had like 2 serious ACLs and now being left alone to train himself. I think the Caldara situation speaks volume of getting players with serious injuries if we even want to gamble. plus milik wanted out of Napoli as deal couldnt be reached salary raise from his current 3 million a year so i dont know if our club is even in place to give him better salary ; we couldnt even deal with our own current players atm.

meanwhile, news has come out that kjaer and ibra situation will be further evaluated and at this point, both may not make it in sassuolo game. in which, we may very much likely to have similar team available against sassuolo.  Sad

If either Milanese team gets Papu they win the scudetto imo.

Having someone that creative behind Ibra or Lukaku improves both teams by a lot in the short term.

Also Milan fans GTFO with understating your scudetto chances. You haven't lost a game since like March and even without Ibra stayed 1st on the table.

It's gonna down the wire with the current top 4 (Milan, Inter, Juve, Napoli). Napoli shouldn't be underrated for this imo. Their problem is big matches, basically the opposite situation they had with Carlo. They are smashing teams below them on the table, drawn 0 matches, but lost against Milan, Inter, and Juve. If they get better results in the return fixtures they will be tight in the race.

Napoli outplayed Inter and lost because of a faulty penalty and stupid red card for Insigne.

We need Ibra back ASAP.

What does it mean faulty ? Because it was clear

I want to thank Milan academy for giving us Darmian

I thought Darmian was offside, but he was onside when the shot came off and was offside only when it deflected off the Napoli player. So it was a correct penalty after all.

Still, sending off Insigne was an incredibly scummy move (obviously not a fault of Inter, but of stupid Italian refs).

Milan fans living in that reality that if they admit they have a chance to win the scudetto it won’t materialize. Meanwhile they’re undefeated after 12 matches, top of the league and handled themselves well in big matches despite dropping some points in these last two matches.

1-2 signings in January and they can easily push on for the scudetto but we know that Juventus and Inter are more likely winners

I’m not sure how juventus didn’t win yesterday. Ronaldo played his worst match in a Juve shirt

Last i checked, we still have 26 matches to play?

And half of our first team is injured?

So yeah, i'm grounded, we look like shit, play like shit and have a dependency and reserve problems

It doesn't matter if we havent lost since lockdown in a fake streak where players are under 0 pressure in stadiums with fans and atmosphere.

I'm realistic about our chances, we are missing a lot of ingredients for a scudetto winning team.

I strongly disagree with the notion that we play "like shit".

In all of the matches we drew, we played significantly better than the opposition creating several chances that hit the post, were saved by magnificent goalkeeping, or were simply not converted well.

Regularly, we have a problem with decision-making in the final third, and we have the tendency to switch-off at key moments and immediately get punished for it.

Ironically, in the two matches, we won against top opposition (Inter and Napoli), we didn't dominate or play as well as in the matches we drew (Genoa is so far the worst game we played all season).

Next 4 games:

Sassuolo will hand us our first loss

Lazio will draw us

Benevenuto will slam us with Pippo at the helm in a shocking win.

And Juve to restablish their league chances with a thumping win against us

Oh shit, we are screwed.

In the last three-game, all of our goals except one were scored by our defenders.

Seriously, at this point, even Piatek or Bacca would bloody work. Frankly, this is do or die for the team. At the end of this run, we will know if this group deserves Ibra to pull them through.

We lost Dybala and Arthur. Both were likely to start, the media reporting this lineup for tonight vs Parma

Juventus (4-4-2): Buffon; Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt, Alex Sandro; Ramsey, McKennie, Bentancur, Chiesa; Morata, Cristiano Ronaldo

I hope Chiesa is on the right side in that lineup.

With Sassuolo-Milan, Lazio-Napoli, and Atalanta-Roma this match is a key chance to get 3 points and climb the table.

So the fight is confirmed, but do you believe the reason given in the tweet? Or is Romano maybe fed the club's version of the incident which he then presents as insider information? Because it makes Gomez sound like the clear culprit while Gasperini would be well within his rights to be angry, or even want to get rid of, a player that refuses to follow instructions...

The episode of the fight itself, or at least the spark that detonated the situation, was on tv during the CL game. So that's pretty clear I would say. Papu argued with Gasperini during the match, they went to the dressing room at half time, and Papu didn't come out.

Gasperini can be kind of a jerk, and maybe he is truly a jerk in the dressing room (we don't know), but during the match the guilt is on Papu imo. He should have moved as asked and carried on. Argue later if necessary, but play the CL match for the win.

That has been Gasperini's angle whenever pressed about it: "I have the right to make choices as coach".

We haven't really heard Papu's side though. All he said was something like "you'll know the truth when I leave".

Just perfect from him and Morata. The defender completely misread the ball there.

Mckennie with a beastly first half performance. Guy's just waltzed his way into the starting eleven and it will likely stay that way. Good showing by Ramsey too. We play much better with him on the pitch.

Comfortable game. Hope to see us score more goals. We look in the mood tonight.

Watching Ramsey play when is "on" is beautiful. One of the nicest players to watch on our squad.

With this level of domination its an easy match for Ramsey and McKennie to show off some attacking flair. Parma's pressing has been woeful. For packed defenses having Ramsey is a must, especially without Dybala.
