The pass from Busquets for Messi's goal was genuinely stunning. Literally the perfect pass, right down to the inch, finding the narrow gap between the back four and goalkeeper without Messi even needing to take a touch. Say what you want about Busquets physically and defensively, his passing is still unreal.

Busqusts still has it at certain times, his problem is physically unable to keep up the pace vs teams that counter us or overwhelms us in midfield at times. He still offers a lot like pressing winning the ball and height, his passing range etc., but just has too big of a weakness vs espeically those top teams who physically out runs him.

His passing was never the problem. Its just that he rapidly declined in terms of atleticism and on top of that he needs to work harder without Xaviesta. But this system with Alba and Dest as wingbacks suits him a lot because they cover for his lack of pace.

David Silva. He was running the show for Sociedad at the beginning of the season but he's hardly played since Christmas.

Unbelievable stuff, for some reason, I see whichever team winning it this year with the feeling of not really deserving it, not one team has been impressive at all.

The trend is clear. They were overperforming at the start but now fatigue is kicking in and they started to consistently lose points

At one point they had a 14 point lead (IIRC), now it's 1 point should Barca win tonight

What a volley by Dembele, just as I had accepted the seemingly inevitable result of 0-0 and we werent good enough in terms of scoring goals despite dominating, phew Very Happy

Its really a result and credit to him, hes been consistently improving quietly and its clears hes changed in recent months with his attitude and performances, so happy to see finally.

Surprisingly, Zidane has only lost like what, one Clasico, so that could potentially explain a sane Madrid fan's confidence.

Also, Pool is in dreadful form but they are still a side not to dick around with so the win would make any sane Madrid fan feel confident as well.

Apparently Manzano has only refereed one Clasico in his entire career, I wouldve thought that he'd have been in charge of more. At least it wasn't Gonzalez Gonzalez or Hernandez Hernandez who are atrocious referees
