Wouldnt say they didnt challenge PSG when BVB actually beat them in one of the legs and the agg was 3-2.

I didn't watch the first leg but the second leg was all PSG. I don't remember BVB registering a shot on target even.

Don't get me wrong, I want Atalanta to go through, I just don't see it happening with all the missing players they have and PSG having all their star players back.

I think Verratti and Di María miss the match and Mbappe starts from tbe bench.

But yes of course PSG have to be favorites. There is no doubt about that, their individualities are of a higher level and Atalanta is missing 2 key figures.

That said, Atalanta have put on an absolute show in big matches this season. We were lucky to play them at their worst moment at the start of the season, and then to carve an undeserved draw in post covid. Otherwise they beat Napoli, Lazio, Roma, etc in this last stretch. As well as the 8 goals to Valencia and the 3-0 to Shaktar, many great results to give a very reasonable hope for this game.

With Ilicic out it should be a toss up between Pasalic (midfielder) or Malinovskiy (forward) to accompany Papu and Zapata as the front 3.

Really looking forward to seeing Papu in this match, would be by far the most fun to watch Atalanta player, but Ilicic also exists. Really enjoyable group.

A lovely piece of irony is that Caldara will (likely) continue to start for Atalanta, and so will start a CL QF vs PSG. Incredible piece of business by Milan it's the gift that keeps on giving.

He is unpleasant, arrogant, condescending, the typical unlikeable person

Gasperini has spent all season praising himself and his team beyond what they deserve. Not to mention his twice a year mention of Inter and how they did injustice to him. To which they kind of did but move on, man.

He is a very well-versed and erudite person but indeed has many questionable qualities.

Fantastic coach though that there is no doubt.

I thought @RG was trolling when he said Atlanta could have beaten Barca the other day lol. After watching mere 15 mins of them I agree wholeheartedly. Also no need to mention that Bayern is in worst shape than us so we are going to eliminate them pretty easily.

The thing is they don't look particularly skilled but so far they look like seem to be making all the right decisions.
