Haven't played any SP games the last 2 years besides GOW & Spiderman, so got a bunch of games to catch up. Will do a game maybe 2 then the 2 DLC.

Also i'm a MP guy you know that lmao. Would be playing clubs with MT & Tom now if MT wasn't ghosting us again Laughing

I am pretty sure I did all the sidequests in Witcher 3. Even ones from peasants were fun to play and had depth. "Sidequests" involving main characters actually influence the main storyline. Like Yeneffer, Triss, Keira Metz, and the Skellige power struggle.

Witcher contracts were GOAT. Favorite part of the game alongside gwent. You're actually missing out on a lot ignoring them. Could give some a try and see if you enjoy.

No doubt I will. Done a few so far and they’re good like I told Mole.

I’ll do a bit more than what I would normaly do besides main story & the DLC, then on to Bloodborne.

Hasn't it been kind of a gimmick to this point, and unplayable in higher resolutions? AMD will introduce their own tech with Big Navi and consoles, and being backed by Microsoft, it's probably going to finally hit through.

I tried my rig with Metro, Battlefield V and Wolfenstein: Young Blood. The whole RTX thing is blown out of proportion. Does it make designing lighting easier for developers? Yes. As a consumer, have I seen visual improvements on certain textures? Yes. Does it take some load off the GPU? Yes. Is it a game changer? At it's current form absolutely not. And while it will become the standard in a few years it is more hype than benefit for the consumer to spend any money on it. Smart you didn't buy one.

Tempted to pick up Valorant on PC when it releases, seeing as it won't be released on consoles till probably like PS5

@Mole what you think of the game if seen it on Twitch.

Could see us putting hours into this on ~~PS4~~ PS5.

I was only forced to buy new GPU because fans died from my GTX 1070, and because replacement fans took two weeks to ship from China. Chose 5700XT because it offered the best fps for buck in high end class, and because my monitor is Freesync 2. Still got 200€ from the 1070, only paid about 450€ when it released, making it one of the best buys in desktop sector. Going to switch to Big Navi as soon as it releases, hoping for around 700€ for 120 fps @ 4k.

Valorant is basically a poor man's CS with a minor Overwatch influence. Riot have been giving out free beta keys to every streamer in the world and their grandmothers to advertise it for them, but it will attract the people who consistently play CS, OW or Fortnite long term.

Tried Minecraft RTX beta this morning.

With RTX off: 145 FPS
With RTX on (ray tracing render distance 8 chunks): 55 FPS
with RTX on (ray tracing render distance 24 chunks): 10 FPS Laughing

I remain underwhelmed by what I’ve seen of RT so far. My main issue is that very smart coding and the latest iterations of all the major engines have got us to a place where a lot of what RT does can be expertly faked. Not as good as the genuine article but close enough to impress and satisfy. It is a technology well into its infancy in current state and next generation consoles are coming far too soon to be able to put RT in good use.
