Oh, La Repubblica. Last summer, Crosetti was making fun of those saying Juve were negotiating with Guardiola, calling it a fantasy, now he says Guardiola was always the first choice:

Guardiola to Juventus has been obvious for a long time coming but I predict Pep will take a definitive sabbatical when he is done with City as he looks at the similar point where he was in his final year of Barça where he yearns for it.

Always has he hinted early retirement as it is and we know how rapidly Pep has aged. Such is the amount he puts into his work.

i can't blame Kaladin for jumping the post-derby (I hope just he isn't convinced about offside, because it was good ) , I'd have made same , no problems for an ordinary loss  ( not by chance I've passed the whole Inter banter era on GL, logged in since 2013) but derby is the match that I suffer mostly. More than Juve match.

Anyway Crosetti is a bad Sport journalist, there is no some fanbase that appreciates him , even Juve fans dislike him ( he is a sort of " Juventino anti-Juventino " ) , quite annoying but yet he 's written one of most beautiful tweets I've ever read .

What a rough period this team is in. Need Bernardeschi back asap, every other option hasn't worked (Ramsey) or is injured (Costa).

Only good things today were Rabiot, Alex, and the result. Everyone needs to wake up and Sarri needs to sort out the team fast. With CL and Inter coming within 2 weeks the play has to improve.

Good game from our point of view after Inter game. 4-4-1-1 is the way to go it seems for us.

we had opportunities that we should have taken in first half, that is my only complaints to this game, as a team collectively everyone defended and involved well to break in attack and reassemble for covering each other. nice work.

having said that though, i dont think juve played to their full potential ... we also got very lucky with rebic getting away from pk after a slap at cuadrado and calabria handball was truly unlucky. plus we will miss castillejo, ibra and theo in second leg

Interesting that Fonseca is putting Pellegrini in the pivot, dropped Veretout, and used Mancini instead. A lot rides on their ability to operate well in those roles, given they haven't played them much this season.

Why not play Mancini-Veretout and Pellegrini in front of them?
