Congrats to Real, u were better than us in this game by far, and this season. Despite both our problems, u got Zidane and some good players up front, many of them, while we are trying to play Vidal there lol, and than an emergency signing, or a teenager, or a past it Rakitic lol.

Oh Barcelona, you should have beaten Madrid in the 1st half proper. Way better 2nd half from the lads, like I personally feel Zidane cursed out every last man including his assistant. Really night and day stuff.

Highlight of the 2nd half: Seeing Der Stegen not only get beat by a very fortuitous finish by Mariano but have the man who caused the goal (Umtiti) run straight into his face. Priceless.

Omg, right?! What is wrong with that station?!

I know Harmonica is going to bash me for this, but for all of Messi’s exceptional, incomparable talent and potential to build up attacks, creating opportunities out of nothing, and making trouble for defenders, I can’t help but think that CR7’s ruthless, more direct goalscoring ability occasionally makes him a more impactful player.

Lately, I’ve started realizing how much we’ve taken it for granted when he’s scored penalties, headers or «tap-ins», but for all his flaws, he’s an absolutely legendary goalscorer. And I have no doubt that even 35 year old Cristiano would’ve thrived in this kind of environment, where we create so many good chances, but ultimately fail to make anything out of them.

I mean, we should have been belted off the park in the 1st half so I can't call them terrible. They had us comfortably where they wanted us. However, @futbol needs to be put in his place and the 2nd half saw the Madrid side that needed to show up since the fucking Celta match.

Only thing missing from Valverde's game is having control of the ball when running. Outside of that, would be a shame if we try to replace him over the summer with our need to buy the best new guy on the market. An absolute shame. Really good midfielder.

In his defense, he spent a lot of energy thashing Leganés de Ibiza. You have to manage your stamina and restitution according to the priority of matches, as you grow older. It’s easier than it sounds

Very small sample size but I think Braithwaite maybe a better fit for Barcelona than Griezmann. Griezmann is the better player, don't get me wrong but Braithwaite looked like someone who belongs in this team where as Griezmann still looks lost.
