Hala likes blood and thunder type players. Vini, Ramos, Militao, Pepe, etc. As Sports wrote, Rodrygo can utilise both his feet and tends to make better decisions with the ball. Thimmy Turner vs Chadster is probably the best GL rivalry going on right now. Nonstop wall to wall entertainment with no holds barred rules.

Whats the use of being ambidextrous if you won't you it to your advantage see Dembele. Rodrygo's first instinct is pass the ball back to Carvajal just like Asensio used to pass to Marcelo. He drifts in and out of games just like Asensio. When we aren't playinh well he doesnt take initiative to make things happen. Now I know he's still a kid, i hope I am proven wrong but I don't see a super duper talent like we were sold when we bought him. I get Asensio vibes from him. Vini on the other I can excuse because he is really talented being held back by his decision making

@Perucho, No Bale has no desire to play for us anymore. He has mentally checked out. We will waste a sub on him. And when was the last time he played good against them

I actually prefer Vinicius, he was poor today but I think he'd do better if he starts rather than comes on as a sub

On a side note.. having James as an option is huge imo. He forces teams to pay attention to the center and has incision in the final third. And he's one of our only goal threats besides benz.

I think with a valverde-casemiro midfield he can play at his best. We are struggling in the attack because Kroos and modric are doing zero. And they are useless defensively.. Modric especially so.

Kroos is the engine of this team. You take him out and you'll struggle to get a grip on the game

I wish Modric would be reduced to being a last resort or a bench alternative, at this point in his career. We all know what he’s capable of, but his general performance output is no longer good enough, and his mobility is a shadow of what it once was.

Was really hoping for a win last night, and to be honest I'm a little disappointed with the result because we didn't take advanatge of barça's recent slip-ups. At least, we didn't lose, so there's that.

I'm also a little worried about Zidane's tactical approach in trying to score goals, but given the fact that he still has key players out injured, I'll refrain from making any assumptions for the time being.

As for the clasico, the important thing is that we don't lose. Of course the ideal scenario would be to win, but given the circumstances, I'll settle for a draw. We mustn't lose though. It's important to keep momentum and for the players to feel they're improving by not losing against the big sides.

Zidane needs to be taken out the back and shot behind the head. What an idiotic obsession with the 4312. The formation by default poses challenges in regards to width and how that applies to attacking, penetration, defending, pressing, and marking, and in the end it's not worth it.

Take Modric off and maybe bring on Asensio, or make it a 4231 with a mix up of Asensio, Vinicius, or Rodrygo.
