Zidane needs to be taken out the back and shot behind the head. What an idiotic obsession with the 4312. The formation by default poses challenges in regards to width and how that applies to attacking, penetration, defending, pressing, and marking, and in the end it's not worth it.

Take Modric off and maybe bring on Asensio, or make it a 4231 with a mix up of Asensio, Vinicius, or Rodrygo.

Beautiful ending to the match. We got lucky. Hopefully this reinforces our belief, enthusiasm, and opens Zidane's eyes regarding that stupid asymmetric formation we started with.

Yes, that'll be the same TMO lol. Great 2nd half but I have to agree with TMO, Zidane really needs to let go of that asymmetric formation.

That set up gives me depression. You take away Valverde's quality by putting him on the wing to play like Lucas. Just so that Modric can play. Don't get me wrong Modric works hard but he's done being a starter. With the way ZZ always starts him you'd think we were lacking quality in midfield which is the area we have the most quality in. Baffling

I have still nightmares about the City game when he thought it was a good idea to bench Kroos just so that Modric could play Laughing
