Pep is going to spend every presser crying about VAR now. Thought it was a penalty tbh

I’m not saying otherwise, but his movement matters little when he wastes chances with poor finishing.

Could have gone either way. But what was he supposed to do with his arm. He was falling down.

It's a risk you take when going down. Think @Firenze is probably right and the fact that he had his hands behind the back initially saved him.
Anyway just looking at the first half it's not that important anyway. 2-0 is actually a very decent result for City after this performance.

He is not a natural finisher. Was never was. He is terrible when he gets the time to think what to do. He is pure instinctive. Pulls off some mad skills too when he doesnt get the time to use his brain lol.

not stick it out intentionally where the ball was going, there was enough room to stick his hand out closer to his body to make his slide to the ground safe

100% penalty imo. You take a risk, you have to take that into account.

No professional footballer is gonna put in every single chance. I can only think of the one where he hit it first time and it went wide.
Go look at his G+A record this season. It's impressive. What's more impressive is him playing as a winger and playing much better there. He is beating players off the dribble. Reminds me of CR

United always being saved by the ref makes them uniquely unlikeable. Like Pep-era Barca at the CL.

Weird comparison, Barca were a top team. Man Yoo are so bad no one should really care about them lol.

Wonder what sets apart a yellow and a red card when it comes to tactical foul?

lmao
Ole outclassed Pep completely today
should have been 4/5-1 in the first half
only thing the ref is saving is Pep from having to explain why he got dominated by a jobber from Norway by having a few calls up to interpretation

I think if you just forcefully kick at aa players legs with intent from behind, you should get sent off.
If you want to make a tactical yellow in that situation, make the effort to get close enough to pull the shirt ffs

with these last two games, Ole has bought himself at least 2 transfer windows to build a proper side with the right culture IMO
