Thibuu so bad.. awful. Ramos and Varane poor but these things happen. Goalkeeper cannot be fumbling a weak shot like that.

Casemiro awful on the ball as usual, no touch and turn into space. Llorente would be perfect for a double pivot in a 4-4-2..

I don't know how Zidane determines his selection and system, but I would love to get some insight.

Midfield will be overrun. Casemiro is not a central mid his positioning is awful.

If it weren't for the stupid mistake i would've considered this a very good half. Bale apart from the tap in has been anonymous. Lucas annoying. For once finally Carvajal with an excellent half. Mendy is a tank lmao but i don't think he's compatible with an out and out winger. Needs to play with Vinicious. Casemiro excellent barring a few misplaced passes, Kroos too. Benz unlucky to hit the post. I am confident we'll get the win in the second half

Not in the slightest. Benz has been our best along with Casemiro. Bale was great in the first game, anonymous in the second and same in this bar the goal.

But Villarreal are defending the wings really well. We are getting more joy through the middle. This would be Hazard's wet dream

Jovic is doing what a CF is supposed to. He's being an individual threat... that'll force defenders and help players to pay attention, which will open space.

i don't know about him humbling himself, and it wasn't criticism, it was a straight 'get him outta here', 2 totally different things. ironically the injuries to others is what has brought bale back in. the one looking good in all this is bale's agent
