PSG losing to Rennes isn't as shocking as I probably would have thought this same time last year. They didn't do anything to really earn the win tbh. And Veratti getting outplayed by the likes of Grenier, Camavinga and some lad named Castillo is stuff of pure banter. Send this lad back to Serie A plz.

PSG getting Dybala has now gone into overdrive. Also, Sarabia >>>>> Di Maria and Draxler.

Oh and Camavinga is 16 years old. Veratti got outshone by a 16 year old. Love it, best league in the world imo.

Verrati is one of the most overrated players in the last decade so no surprises there

genuinely wouldn't start for Everton, guy is sub Drinkwater tier

but yeah I can't imagine PSG aren't going to go all out for Dybala, lad's about to get that 400K a week he wanted and the agency that own his rights are about to get paid

Watched a large part of the game wanting to see how good PSG are atm, they look pretty poor though, with very little chemistry, and the formation is strange. I actually thought Verrati was good though. But I dont understand Draxler's effectiveness in the team. Wasnt he a winger more in the past? Now its around the CM and AM position together with Di Maria, but both not effective. I see Marquinhos was playing like a sweeper or free role of some sort going from the middle back three to moving all around in front of the defense as well, it just seems Tuchel is trying to be too clever or something. The wing backs were not effective as well. It just seems all the talented players are being wasted trying to play something thats unpractical.

Dual watching both the Barca/Betis and the PSG/Toulouse and I'm just gonna copy/paste what I wrote last week as the exact same thing is taking place.

~~Almost~~ HT and once again, no Neymar, no damn party. Mbappe won't or can't provide the same spark, skill or creativity that Neymar provided at all. He shouldn't have to tbh, he's a striker, a ~~world class~~ decent one at that. ~~Rennes~~Toulouse are rubbish, no idea how PSG hasn't battered this team. Oh I do, no Neymar...

He's the only that looks like he knows how to kick a ball for Toulouse. Didn't know he was a highly rated one but then again, French clubs just keep producing these high end talents.

Mbappe is a goalscorer. Neymar is a playmaker. Mbappe takes goals... while Neymar creates them. Neymar scores some too while Mbappe has plenty of assists. But their roles and the way they each play are completely different.

And Neymar almost always had Mbappe (who doesn't get injured very often until today) or Cavani or both at PSG... Mbappe has played with neither for a very long stretch and still produced. When he has Neymar and/or Cavani, Mbappe's incredible. When he doesn't, he's basically playing alone. His attacking partners today and most of last season were Choupo-Moting and Draxler/Sarabia. Who do you think gets all the attention?

Neymar had a few games alone and he was a complete shitshow a couple of seasons ago. So please don't tell me that Neymar this and Neymar that... it's factually false. He's more beautiful to watch than Mbappe due to his dribbling skills and his flair. But Mbappe is far far far more lethal. Neymar goes into full alone mode with no end product when he doesn't have Mbappe/Cavani.

Exactly, Neymar is a play maker. A world class one at that. Having Mbappe as this play maker/goalscorer hybrid isn't cutting it so far as Mbappe simply isn't as good at as Neymar is. Not sure what is not factual about what I am writing. The boy should be focusing on what he is great at i.e being a striker.

If the rumours of Dybala has any truth to it, PSG could really do with someone of his ilk. Or put Neymar back in the starting line up. Either or.

OM went from one shitty owner with an incompetent president running operations to another... we're paying million per season to Villas Boas ffs. Nuf said.

I'd rather give a shot to an up and coming manager and invest money in players than buy shitty Villas Boas.

In any case, we suck. We have moments of good play like all teams... but OM sucks. We're not going to get better under this management.

What's worse, we don't even have exciting young players that i can enjoy... which may not be a bad thing since we'd sell them for cheap for no reason anyhow.

I mostly enjoy watching Lyon, Lille, Monaco and PSG because they have players that are interesting to follow. Rennes is good too. Other than torturing yourself... I see no reason to watch OM. But I feel that I have a duty. I don't recommend it to anyone else.

Lyon lost a lot of players in the summer and they have a new manager with a drastically, but i feel good, new vision of play. It's going to take some time.

Keep this name in mind... Rayan Cherki of Lyon. Just turned 16. Madrid and Man U tried to sign him but he decided to stay at Lyon. Kid has some superb talent if he can capitalize on it.

Neymar is not the engine that makes PSG run... i keep saying it over and over again. It's Verratti, Di Maria and Mbappe... with Cavani as the hawk in the box.

Neymar is a ball stopper while those guys keep the ball moving.

This 4231 has to stop from Tuchel. Verratti is wasted in it. Also, bring in Icardi over Choupo-Moting ffs.

"Neymar hijo de puta" sung most of the game.

a massive sign saying "Neymar Sr. Venda seu filho na Vila Mimosa"... Vila Mimosa is the prostitute quarter in Rio btw. So it's saying that Neymar Sr. would sell his son into prostitution.

"20 millions pour rejoindre Messi, pas de putain à Paris." Basically saying Neymar would pay 20 million to become Messi's whore.
