Yes. I don't think so.
They can challenge us in the sense that they will push us and contend, but I don't think they have enough quality to beat us to the scudetto in the end.
Its Conte, he's magic at this, so Inter are definitely the real deal. He transmitted his ideas faster than Sarri could (or Giampaolo, or Fonseca) and made Inter formidable.
The thing is though, that when our plan doesn't work the individual quality can get us over the line. In this start of the season it's clear to see that Sarri's plans are under construction, yet we win. So if the Sarri and the players can sort themselves out in time we WILL win the scudetto, because Inter will stumble, their quality is still lower than ours and the squad thinner.
It will be tight.
What's sure is that another summer with Conte and Marotta will 100% make Inter into a completely legit scudetto contender, much more than post-Sarri Napoli.

Good question , because I've changed at least 3 times the term. I didn't know how should I have translated this , But @Rincon has found the proper term !

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
atrocious and lack of concentration ... not to mention lack of quality ...
goals coming from left flank for both torino goals, mussachio, calabria and kessie cant even defend... not to mention calhanouglou always giving ball away and just a lateral passes.. belotti had everyone in that defence absolutely having them into shreds
milan is blowing chances upfront also .....
giampaolo is one game away from getting sack i think.. if he doesnt win against fiorentina
regardless piss poor milan
final score Torino 2 - 1 Milan

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
Officially done with Marco Giampansy. I love the character, his words and philosophy but the manager himself for all his golden cogs in his head is held down by fear and his obvious provinciale footballing background.
The Sacchi comparisons need to stop for any manager who shares an attacking mindset and little to no footballing background, for Sacchi was a unique man and thinker before he even stepped on the field to manage us.
Giampaolo maybe will succeed in the future but is taking his sweet time with us and more so held back by the typical thing that happens to a man who is so conditioned to managing mid-table/low tier teams that he is daunted by the big stage and somehow finds a more cocooned pragmatic approach will somehow buy him more time and not realising that is counter-active.
Forget the squad, bar a small handful I am done with the rest.
Maldini has unnerving faith over him and clearly he is influenced by the man himself in Giampoon and what he desires on paper and yes whilst we do not have the technical squad to match his ambitious playbook, his understandable excuse if he verbalizes it, he has not adapted.
I would have thought he would have Milan come out fighting after the worst derby loss in years, but we went out with a whimper and the only satisfying thing to see was Piatek take his methodically, clearly relentlessly practiced penalty strike conversion.
Replace before the season is lost. And no, not by an unproven former Milan legend.
My next prediction is Massimo Oddo for us

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
Not idea why AC Milan are long 5 years who continue on bad managers , not even one of good- high level has been signed but yet it's not matter of budget .. because conversely Milan have always spent good money for players ( even in this their " banter era" )
At least before Conte we 've signed Mancini and Spalletti, and the Tuscanian bald was the fundamental key for coming back in UCL.
Having said that, I've watched the whole match and I'd not have expected that Milan are going to bottle this.
They've played good, at least compared to last their matches, Milan were controlling match and Piatek misses a very easy goal after a great initiative by Romagnoli. It 'd have been the 0-2. Real sliding door.
Adter this, Donnarumma - who was playing very good matches before today - errs it on Torino goal . And even before of it, he was giving a goal to Torino ( who remembers that chance on last minute on 1st half, Belotti who misses an open chances because Womanrumma was going to have a coffee). After 1-1, black out and Torino got even the 2nd goal
Yesterday the only (but probably not irrilevant) fault by Giampaolo was to have the wrong subs, Leao out for Bonaventura on 65' minute hasn't been convincing as choice, that's clear.

There is no big hotshot we can realistically take rn apart from Allegri and Wenger, Mourinho has a contract with Sky.
If its the latter, i would rather stick with Giampaolo
If its the former, i have mixed feelings but would reluctantly accept.

And also, anyone and their freaking mom can see that we're gonna lose against Montella's Fiorentina at home, and you'll have people hampering about poetic justice, honestly just fuck off, almost every ex-Milan player has scored against us from the Petagna's to Birsa's. I honestly don't give a fuck anymore.

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
Quite frankly I have always dreamt of Mourinho taking the helm in one of two of my clubs.
For Milan now, especially of course.
I always found him supremely charismatic even if I heavily disliked him earlier this decade, compared to my now admiration for him.
Yes we will not be playing champagne football and will be hearing of some unnecessary drama weekly, followed by our youth sector getting close to no development (as Milan twitter will flame him for) but there is a reason why I'd want him.
He's actually won something, for one and not just domestically.
And would bring out the best even in this shambolic squad and teach them how to win.
May not work out given José is not the same as he was but simply tired from his high octane brand of coaching, so intense he is into his work.
But I dont want another former legend taking the position just because of 'Milan DNA'.
Apparently Gattuso may take over briefly if Marco is fired, and believe it or not at this point I would accept even him over Giampansy. The latter just has no balls.
Torino match indeed was positive but it was a Mazzarri based Torino and I do not rate them too high.
Once again, post derby we were supposed to come out fighting. Maldini needs to stop protecting him.

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
Mourinho already has a contract with Sky and his wages have been historically astronomical for our standards.
Unless a coach is out of a job, i don't see us paying a club for a coach.
I just want someone who has silverware to his name, no more idealist or rincon's fetishes, i saw it fro 200miles since the beginning of the summer yet he kept hampering on about how an amazing coach he was, his best finish was 9th ffs.

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
Talking about rejecting Mourinho, Wenger or Allegri, and dreaming of Conte this is not Milan's level.
1 month ago you were hyping up your mercato. Reality is that the squad is poor, it has no coherence, and the structure of the club is to blame. All the way from the top. Milan is not in a position to do anything significant in Serie A, the fans expectations simply dont align with the current status of the club.
Giampaolo is not a top coach, and I never claimed he was one, but he sure as hell is better than his last 4 or 5 predecessors. Seeing how the club is run the expectations have to be dialed down.

No he is our #1. Buffon just gets games and he was great in the last match. Today Buffon will break the all time record of Serie A appearances with 903!
The holder was Paolo Maldini with 902.
For our team: De Sciglio, Danilo are injured and Alex's dad passed away. So we start Matuidi at left back. Ronaldo returns and Sarri sticks with the 4312 of the last match
Ronaldo - Dybala
Ramsey
Rabiot - Pjanic - Khedira
Matuidi - De Ligt - Bonucci - Cuadrado
Buffon
Ramsey
Rabiot - Pjanic - Khedira
Matuidi - De Ligt - Bonucci - Cuadrado
Buffon
Having Ramsey and Dybala last match was great for our passing. Seeing them with Ronaldo and an improved Rabiot has me excited.
