Top 5 Nostagic Games
What are your top nostagic games that you don't play now but wouldn't mind playing again one day or regularly go back to for a week or so?
Mine:
Counter Strike Condition Zero
Age of Empires 2 Conquerors
Age of Mythology
Railroad Tycoon 2
Chmapionship Manager 2008
GTA San Andreas
Call of Duty 1 or 2
I am very old school.
Also anyone remember Claw or Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

I think Nostalgia can be a feeling you need to be careful of due to its implications, but having said this, MGS2 and MGS3, along with L4D2 online for me.

Pretty disappointed in the lack of Warcraft here tbh. Those games were my childhood more than any other

Never got into WoW but a lot of people did enjoy it. Not my type of game though or something I'd be keen to go back to

Fifa 99 or 98?
Which one was the one where you could celebrate or avoid yellow card for hours just by running continuously away

Re: Top 5 Nostagic Games
Honestly as far as being accurate to the OP, there isn't that many at least now.
I don't really get the urge to replay old games anymore, but in terms of just having fond memories then the list is almost endless
I definitely agree on Simpson's Hit and Run, i loved that game and with all the remakes for stuff like Crash, Spyro happened i wish a remake for that would happen.

Honestly I am nostalgic for both, but I had just to be selective for that top five
Fifa 98 (the game with intro by Chumbawamba)was insane but Fifa 99 is my favorite Fifa game (also because we had Ronaldo:cigs:) and I dont' like Fifa ffs but when you're child..
Anyway Fifa 98 peculiarity was the indoor stadium that was great and sadly it was not replcated on following games. But that contribuites to the nostalgia.

It's a bit of both. Some gamers revisit some don't hence, kept it open to both types

The good one.
It came out right around the 07 World cup hence developed a craze. Only Don Bradman's cricket has a better following in the cricket game genre than 07

Re: Top 5 Nostagic Games
Ah, another nostalgic game for me was Crash Bandicoot.
Probably whoever has played to PS1 on 90s had this.
Amazing game.
in 90s it was popular also Tomb Raider if you remember... sadly I 've played less on this for a reason.
My PS1 was chipped, because so I could get also not - original games (pirated games).
Most number of my PS1 games were bought for 5'000 lire (10 euro now) from that Maroccan of trust near to supermarket
but sadly Tomb Raider never worked.
I don't know if everywhere but in Italy most of ppl had chipped PS1 for this reason Stopped to do it for PS2/PS3/PS4 of course

Re: Top 5 Nostagic Games
I didn't really become a gaming addict until the XBOX 360/PS3 generation and all of my favourite games are from then onwards, but if we're talking pure nostalgia, it has to be the PS1.
played this religiously against my step-dad as a kid, used to go easy on him and let him win from time to time to ensure it didn't affect him buying me a pack of pokemon cards every day.
First RPG I ever played. Was at my friends house and his dad had a collection of like 500 PS1 games, said I could borrow anything I wanted, randomly chose this due to the cover. Never did finish it as I was like 8 or 9 and it was like 100 hours long, but I came close. GOAT Videogame opening.
Elite game, not much more to say.
same as Crash. I remember actually playing the demo for Spyro religiously before buying it.
I think it was this game. Got to the year 2075 on career mode with Xpac of all people. Nuff said.
