I dont understand though if PSG actually wanna recoup most of the 222M they paid for him? Not gonna happen, no matter the current bloated market prices, which is not as crazy anymore anyway. Neymar is older, and his reputation has plumments. PSG themselves overpaid in the first place to trigger his clause, so it would be stupid if they think they can recoup that.

I wonder why Bacelona is still in the deal.

They don't need to sell. And his contract runs till 2022.

While a winger duo of Neymar and Hazard would be a dream come true, one has to ask the question of what will happen to mega million signings of Rodrygo and Vinícius Jr (for a combined fee of €93 million, more than Barça paid Santos for Neymar). It doesn't make sense from a financial or footballing point of view.

Given Neymar’s and Hazard’s age, Rodrygo and Vinícius are the eventual replacements. They along with Kubo are 2-3 years away from being starters.

PSG have rejected Barça's loan offer with an option to buy Neymar. PSG want a higher amount of money for both the loan and eventual transfer fee. Barça understand this rejection is part of negotiations and now expects PSG to make the next move. [rac1]
