Probably will be eventually. Hope there is. And without a doubt there will be a slim version in the future lol

Re: PlayStation 5
I like it in white but speaking from experience on my Xbox it fades into an off-white fast and loses that sheen to which black does not.
Biggest example is white cars, to which are a nightmare to keep looking clean or white sneakers.
No doubt they will release other hybrids.

Re: PlayStation 5
There are rumours that the white face plate will be customizable, so you would be able to have different colors with different themes, and swap them in or out. I hope that's the case

I really like the console they've shown personally, not sure why people don't like it.

Re: PlayStation 5
This might just be a side effect of the Console design. I think you have to pop off one of the plates to insert the additional SSD if you want to increase storage, which means the plates are removable (at the very least one), and therefore customizable.RealGunner wrote:Sony and customisation?
Don't believe it
Even if Sony did not plan for it, the moment it's confirmed we can pop them off, you will see people selling material to customize the plates plates.
edit: this is the back of the console, you HAVE to remove the plates to pop in your SSD, at least one of them, this will provide opportunities to customize. Again, Sony might not have planned this but this is what will happen

Re: PlayStation 5
I've been told the PS5 is ultra quiet even when it is working hard. The cooling is either underwhelming and can lead to frame rate drops or it is so well engineered that there's no need for big noisy fans.

Dbrand.com is already planning to sell Skins to customize the PS5. You can check them out

I've never been to Japan, but purely based on watching holiday pictures that one of my colleagues took while he was in Tokyo, I think it's very evident that the Japanese care more about convenience and practicality than the rest of the world do

Re: PlayStation 5
Does anyone here have any tips on TVs for gaming/PS5?
Just sold mine (Samsung 40" 1080p) to get a 4K for when I get the PS5. With Prime Day this week I figured its a good time.

Re: PlayStation 5
Samsung and LG TVs are always a safe bet, as all recent models have high frame refresh rates, often dedicated game modes, and seem to generally be designed with games in mind. I don't know what your budget is, or what type of TV you have in mind, but QLED seems to be the absolutely best alternative for gaming, due to their super low input lag. But they're expensive. OLEDs are great as well, and some argue that they provide better image quality when watching movies and TV shows.
Personally, I would've bought a Samsung QLED purely for the low input lag, if I hadn't bought an OLED TV recently - but I probably care more about input lag than the average Joe. I've never owned an LG TV myself, but some of my friends have them, and they provide absolutely jaw droppingly gorgeous image quality.

OLEDs are out of my price range. I'm thinking around 500, probably 800 as the max.

Re: PlayStation 5
5-800 USD? You'll probably have to ask around in your local electronics store. I could look up TVs in that price range here, but as you probably already know, electronics.. and pretty much everything else, is a lot more expensive here than in most other countries, and are probably available for much more reasonable prices elsewhere.

HDR10+ is very important for modern gaming.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-dynamic-range_imaging
This is the best TV searcher in Germany. I chose 4K resolution, prices from the lowest to highest, HDR10+ and at least 40 inches for you. Play with the settings around to find what you need:

You'll find the models in amazon as well.

That's the one I have. I've had it for about 2 years now, and I'm very happy with it. It seems to be sold out everywhere online, though. I don't remember how much I paid for it.

Agreed with Thimmy, Samsung and LG are probably the best high end PCs for buck (better than Sony in that sense). I've been told there are lots of good Chinese brands as well competing with the Koreans now, like Hisense. Personally I'm sceptical but I've heard good things.
