Ajax bought Răzvan Marin (CM with good defensive & offensive work rate), possibly the best Romanian football player in Europe right now. Digisport, a Romanian sports news agency says it's Ajax's 3rd most expensive acquisition in their history. They are paying Standard Liege 12.5 mil euros.

Bogdan Lobonț, Cristian Chivu and George Ogăraru are some of the past Romanian players who played for Ajax and each of them turned out to be exceptional players, especially Chivu.

Considering that Romanian football's level dropped incredibly low, this is very good news for us. Hopefully Marin will do a great job in NL.

I don't really know anything about him but I'm excited. Do you think he'll work as a replacement for de Jong or is he a different type of player?

So basically, BVB have signed two top attacking players from direct CL rivals for the money they got for Pulisic, and then used the last part of it to raid Hoffenheim for their German NT defender to upgrade that LB Schmelzer problem spot they tried to fill with Guerreiro, Toljan, and Hakimi
