Summer 2018 confirmed transfers and contracts

FC Bayern wrote:Joshua Kimmich (23) has agreed a three-year contract extension with FC Bayern München keeping him at the club until 30 June 2023. The Germany international’s current deal was originally set to expire on 30 June 2020.

FC Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić also expressed delight at the new deal for the man capped 25 times by Germany. “He’s still only young but accepts responsibility and leads the way on and off the pitch. Joshua is an important component of the FC Bayern of the future, and we hope to celebrate plenty of success over the next few years.”

“I'm very happy I've extended my contract so early. It shows the club and the officials have a lot of trust in me and see me as an important factor for FC Bayern's long-term sporting success. It makes me proud,” said Kimmich after inking the contract. “I'm grateful that I've always been able to develop at the highest possible level, and that it'll go on - and that I have the best conditions to take on an important role, in the national team too. My goals and the club's goals for the coming years are very ambitious, and I want to play my part and do everything to achieve them with the team.”

Joshua Kimmich joined FC Bayern from Leipzig at the beginning of the 2015/16 season. He has made 109 competitive appearances for the German record champions so far, scoring 13 goals. He became a Germany international in that time. He was in the Germany squad for the EURO 2016 in France and won the FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia last year.

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA ("BVB") and its player Marco Reus today extend their employment contract as professional football player - that originally was due to expire on 30th June 2019 - preliminary until 30th June 2023.

"Dortmund is my home, BVB is my club! Since I was a kid, I dreamed of appearing on the pitch in black and yellow and playing for this club. So, with deepest conviction I want to use this signature as a clear signal for the future," said Marco Reus.

FC Bayern wrote:Franck Ribéry will don the FC Bayern München shirt for another season. On Monday the 35 year-old extended his contract, which was due to expire this summer, by one year until 30 June 2019. Ribéry has been at FC Bayern since 2007 and celebrated his eighth German league title this season.
