Quick, direct, offside traps, pressing high up the pitch, and a bit of possession.

Stop trying to act like Solari doesn't know what he is doing he knows way more than JLO aka isco best friend.

It was a legitimate question. Last I watched there was nothing, no philosophy, not even a glimpse of tactics. I'll take your opinion with a grain of salt of course, but at least it's something. No one else has been able to say exactly what he's doing.

Ajax has been the dominant side so far, but I can't see them keeping this tempo all game. They're bound to get tired at some point.

Still, it's worrying that we're struggling this badly against a side with players who aren't legally old enough to drive yet.

Better shape up and quickly.

They are absolutely toying with us at this very moment and in our own box. Luckily, their striker is missing clear-cut chances left and right.

I really don't know whether I should applaud these kids or scold them for disrespecting their elders.

...and 1-0 Ajax. Can't say I'm surprised, they fully deserve the lead.

EDIT: Offside, apparently. Our guys need to wake the f up now, seriously.

I can't understand why is it so hard to pass the ball to benzema in goal scoring areas, everytime the players move away from that the team struggles, bales needs to sit his touch is bad and he is not beating anyone nor is he passing to benzema either, this team can be so stupid smh reguillon such a easy pass and fcking it up so stupid.

Carvajal is terrible. Not a single good control of the ball let alone a pass. Regullion too very weak. Casemiro turnover machine.

We are just not suited to face a pressing team at the moment. Why are they always second to all the loose balls. I can't understand.

Was the goal disallowed because the player came from an offside position? Or a foul on courtois

When your midfielders are pressed like this your CF need to be ready as an outlet for long ball or come deep and get pass directly from center back. Benzema is doing neither of the things.

Casemiro sometimes as an AM, Bale killing off any meaningful right sided attack, Vini actually having a poor game, Dani being poo and the ship not being steady at all.

Meanwhile, Ramos is a rock in the defense. Oof. Bill's son is making him proud.

The TV says offside but I think it's a foul. Don't think Conetois was getting to the ball regardless.

I honestly thought the goal was legit and should've stood. But I'll have to watch the replay later to make sure.

Regardless though, Ajax deserved to go into the break with a lead.

I hope Madrid wakes up and plays with more grit in the second half and win this.

This is what happens when you let players like Vasquez come deep and touch the ball. He loses the ball and goal.

Can't wait to see this guy Go.

Aside from a scattered moments of brilliance from Vini, Benzema, Modric and a terrific game by Ramos, this was a night to forget and we really, really didn't deserve to win this.

Terrible game. Ajax dominated.

Bale is garbage. this is why we need Isco. we should play with 4 midfielders.

Firstly well done team for a hard fought win

Now, Bale is nowhere near first team material. He is at best a bench player. We suffered for a whole hour because of him. I hope Solari never plays him from start again

Modric Laughing Kroos gets alot of crap for not tracking back, this guy took it to a whole new level. I couldn't even see him in the frame when we were defending. Put our defence under sooooo much pressure. Ajax were targeting the space he left when he was jogging around all game

Casemiro and Ramos battled to win the ball back by themselves, at times I felt sorry for them. It was a defensive horror show by the two other midfielders

Reguillon was good but could have been better, still not much came from his wing. Slowly slowly he'll get there

Benz with a well taken goal, hope the injury isn't anything serious.

Vini's performance mirrored that of Barca/Atleti, brilliance then braindead, great assist. He is getting better though

Lucas did well when he came on, suddenly we were attacking from the right after not seeing shit from that side. He is essential in order to steady the ship

Courtois rofl the less said about this clown the better. I hope the media puts prezsure on Solari. We are not winning CL at all with a guy who can't save ONE shot

Lastly, Let's not be too harsh on the team, this was the last game in our toughest week of the season. Imagine playing at Camp Nou then Wanda and then all the way in Holland within the space of 7 days. The team did well, we were pinned back for large parts but we came out of these 3 games without a loss. That's impressive, onwards and upwards it is

Bench Modric play Ceballos that's all......

True players are indeed tired after 3 tough games, bale was disappointing he is not playing team ball, he is just shooting no crosses, linking up or taking on defenders and same thing for asensio had Mariano open shoot the ball into the defender legs the team isn't gonna win until these plays get ironed out this is how the goal drought started last time not a good look and props to ajax they made it difficult for 90 mins.

Lucas and Asensio's final ball is awful. they can't pass the ball to striker. just want to shoot.

poor Benz playing with braindead players like Bale, Lucas and Asensio.
