Calma. He's good for a few goals every now and then but outside of that? OUT.

And because Juve are paying him 400K p/w  that's worse than the Sanchez deal :coffee:

Nice try lmao.

Still think, probably better deal for both would have been Ramsey staying at Arsenal and Özil joining Juve.

Juve's team is crying out for Özil, Ramsey will be decent but add nothing significant.

I see it's 1-0 for Arsenal, but how are the teams playing? How's the match so far?

in hindsight it isn't, but it's still madness. Sanchez had the reputation of an elite player at the time. Ramsey is a B+ player. 400 a week ffs. Ozil is finished, stop. Although I do agree a player in Ozil's mould would be better at Juve than Ramsey.

Spurs honestly look dreadful and have done so for a while (in the league). Honestly a testament to how poor the rest of the teams below them were earlier in the season that they're still third.

Good grief.

we've never given absurd wages to midcard players you numpty. Sanchez is the only embarrassing one that is a complete farce, but when we signed him he had the reputation of being one of the best players in the league, albeit out of form (which turned out to be completely finished) stfu before I tell Wolves to sign your best players.

Son needs to leave Spurs tbh and go join a team where he can be the main man, he won't get that treatment there with Kane. Inter should sign him IMO.

Well Sanchez only joined you because the top clubs Bayern, City, and PSG weren't prepared to pay the wages he demanded.
With us, it was easy, as it would have been 60% more than Lewandowski, Neuer, etc, but if even clubs notorious for having no sense of financial proportion decide it's too much, you've got to congratulate Woodward on his decision making Laughing

If we're being honest, both he and Mourinho saw it as a minor victory over City. Proud doubt the deal happens without us  gazumping them to his signing, even though Pep told him to take a hike with his demands.

No coincidence that Arsenal are back on the rise since Koscielny has returned. Most underrated defender in world football. And now even with facial hair signifying even more leadership.

Surprised to see the spurs hate on this thread has clouded so many views. Until the 40th minute Arsenal's only good chance was the lucky break they got. They haven't created much of anything. Meanwhile Spurs have struggled to crack the nut but have been close a few times (offside goal, double save, a couple chances where they really should've finished better). It hasn't been nearly as one sided as GL is making it seem.

Last negative post about Spurs is 30 minutes old and they were poor at the beginning.
