Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
I was under the impression every footballer is insured? unless it's the high profile ones only.
It's a difficult position for everyone. Nantes would think they deserve the money legally as they did sell him. Cardiff would think that they bought him but he never played for them.
You would think UEFA would step in in this case and try to sort it out and maybe compensate Nantes.

Don't want city to win the league tbh, just want the drama that would come from Liverpool being made 2nd for a few weeks

Let’s see if Everton put in the same effort as the Liverpool game.

That Jesus goal was unbelievably scrappy lmfao.
Wouldn't be out of place in 1993 premier league away to Wimbledon.

Have always wondered about a situation like this in truth. Was curious to know how it would play out. It’s really sad and surprising at the same time now that I got an answer. Surprising because I thought in this day and age, these big business entities would have made it absolutely certain to protect their ‘assets’. 15 million is still massive massive money for laymen. And even for clubs of the stature of Cardiff and Nantes too, I believe this is lot money. So, yea, really surprising.

Not sure why Cardiff think they would not have to pay, if the transfer went through.
And quite apparently it was their shitty plane that killed the kid, after all.
Don't think Cardiff can play victims here, on the contrary. If the player himself is terrified that the plane is falling apart before takeoff, honestly this sounds more like murder to me than an accident.
