The problem with Liverpool is they can’t perform under pressure.

Fred looks like a headless chicken most games he plays, like, legitimately terrible
but I'm gonna say Keita's been the bigger flop because he came in with huge expectations and looks like...well, the Guinean Fred

The problem with Liverpool is that Firmino is frustrating more often than not

How has Fabinho been overall? He played well most times I've seen him (which is not a lot).

Looked like we could have got a second offside goal, lol. Don't think the linesman flagged.
Our attack is just too slow sometimes. You double-guard the front three and the midfield is unable to provide any offense.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
The "fuck the Reverse jinx" mentality that caught on here from Sepi's contrarian ideologue was interesting but cynicism from us LFC fans does not come from a loser mentality.
A loser mentality involves defeatism to something in your control.
Winning or Losing mentality we are not in control of how LFC plays or wins as laughably football fans may like to think so by the whole '12th man' concept their what they feel they are entitled to;
This mentality comes from a genuine bout of experience seeing LFC have the title In Their Hands and only to slip it up by the biggest enemies in those races, ourselves.
So yes defeatism is annoying to see given never will I display as such In real life given most things happen to be within my hands, but we are resigned to the fact that our slip-ups as of recent in comparison to a comfortably better Manchester City, are just a part of whats come to be expected for now.
So I openly invite the nausea some will feel when looking upon my cynicism to our title races, but know that does not exist in what is easily the bigger stage (Champions League) but purely down to the Premier League.
At least it wasn't a last gasp loss to which some (including I) are reeling from.
This current three point advantage feels like nothing at all.
Well the turntables have..

Meanwhile, Mauricio "I can't win any trophies because I manage fking Spurs" Pochettino has his side 5 points behind 1st place. Like the club equivalent of Herpes, they refuse to just go away.
Best league in the world imo.

that 3 point lead will be gone in the next round of fixtures. Teams like Leicester and West Ham are getting ruined by scrub teams most weeks and we play them and they look more like title winners than us ffs.RealGunner wrote:How is it over when you are still 3 points ahead ffs

It will go down to the wire, the moment we are second, teams will treat us a squad to beat rather than 2000% not get embarrassed imo

Seriously, if either City and Pool keep randomly slipping, Spurs might actually sneak this title win. As much as I despise Spurs, Poch winning a trophy would, at least, hush his detractors up for at least a month.
And BC declare him a National Hero.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
I’m not even ranting when I say this because it is the reality of things but Liverpool really need to rethink the strategy for next season instead of pissing away the cups with the though of winning the title we should be all out to win the cups and just make sure to get top 4. No way are these players with this manager good enough to win the title and anyone that’s says 2nd place and no trophies is better than a top 4 finish and a cup are mad. Our team and manager don’t match up to the ambitions people are expecting.

Lets not kid ourselves, you'd be the first one complaining if we were in the next rounds of the domestic clubs while being 3rd in the league.
