Yeah, I understood that part from reading the article. I don't mind it much, personally. However, I think if they really want to add a female character to the Bond universe, the best way to go about doing so would be to create a seperate brand in the same universe, as opposed to being a James Bond: Female 007. Maybe that's what they're doing? I hope it is. Having a female 007 is fine. I think that concept has potential, but I can't lie, the timing of this female inclusion makes me a bit sceptical.

I would've been more excited for it, had it occurred during a time when politically-driven changes to established franchises wasn't trending, but let's see what they make of it.

James Bond is the type of movie you think is GOAT as a child because ... well ... "James Bond, shaken - not stirred". Then you grow older with a better conscious for movies and about what is good and what isn't and you are like: "Meh ... this is kinda ... average. The saga must be on the decline. Just an outliner." Then another James Bond comes out and you are still amazed by how mediocre it is and you start to wonder if it was actually always like that, only distorted childhood memories. Or if it simply keeps declining.

I still don't have an answer.

Lol just posted facts. Seen a lot of people mistakenly assume she is outright replacing Craig as the new James Bond.

And somehow you are still upset. In fact you are the one in this thread who is very upset because of hearing various things you don't like. Then again, you use the words cuck and SJW unironically. I think James Bond used to have a certain charm to him, that he'll likely never get back. I mean, I imagine some people would describe him as an arrogant narcissist with a condescending view towards women, today. Some would definitely argue that he was a poor role model. I think that's part of what made him charming, though. As much as his nonchalant attitude towards women is something that's becoming increasingly frowned upon in today's society, he represented a relatively unrealistic, fictional male persona that was widely considered to have tons of charm. That just won't roll today, as people are becoming more conscientious about how movies affect the viewer on a sociological and political level.
