Baby attitude - check
Will listen to mom before the coach - check
Rabiot is a decent midfielder just not worth breaking the wage structure for him (if it holds any importance in a said club). As example with that contract he'd be richer than Pjanic who's better than him in every aspect of the game.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
he is way better than "decent" he is a very good player with European experience and performances in notable stadiums like the camp nou and the Bernabeu.
Frankly, except for his attitude, it should be a no brainer for most clubs to go after him. PSG and Antero Henrique have also screwed up in this so no wonder he wants to go.
Also, unfair to compare players wages in Italy vs rest of europe. You guys dont pay players well in Italy, period. Isnt Ramsey going to make the same as Pjanic if not more?

That salary would make Rabiot the second highest paid player in serie a, after CR. Free transfer become big salaries, Emre Can makes more than Icardi and Insigne, and most of our players.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
In Rabiot i see a classic midfielder with above average understanding and decent technique. But he is no way elite, more the kind of signing you make to strengthen your midfield than to be your pillar. As i said he is good but not great. Been a hot talk for many months so there is artificial hype around him.
You got me here with Ramsey, of course it's bull shit, 6.5 millions is too much
Rabiot would have been a safer choice than Ramsey honestly, but his mom would ask for more money and playing time guarantees

Rabiot is elite, you guys have mud in your eyes lol. you are mixing the personal with his actual quality on the pitch
Also, weren't you calling SMS some kind of generational attacking mid talent last winter? sorry but your player valuation scale is broken

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
Rabiot is a nothing player. Elite in what sense? Won't even get in the top 20 midfielders list. Ramsey is 10 times the player. Juve haven't missed anything but i suppose he is better than Can.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
he is definitely one of the best young midfielders in Europe. And the games he has played in CL over the past few years show this.
Ramsey is a very good player too, but he is in his prime, im not going to compare him with a 23 yo Rabiot, but i would argue the difference isnt that big. If not for his contract dispute now, he would be a starter for PSG, and that's clear.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
High wages on a free transfer have to be thought of in the context of not having to pay the parent club a transfer fee, allowing the new club to provide larger incentives to the new signing.
Imagine signing Rabiot at 40M and then paying him 5M per year for 5 years versus signing him for 0 and paying him 7.5M for 5 years.
I’d take him at Juve for sure, just better than what we got simply put but I’m also ok with missing out on him. I’m assuming there’s a reason why we’re not linked with a player that fits, is young, free and of a decent profile. Him cucking himself out of a world cup is maybe why

Lol if that's the case the state of young midfielders in Europe is trash lol.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
When has Rabiot become this super talent? He's decent at best in most games i've seen, with a few exceptions against Barca. But then again, Jack Wilshere had a career-carrying performance against them, even against a better Barca.
I'm not convinced, he's an adequate midfielder at best if im being honest.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours 2018/19
i dont know what a super talent is, but do know i did not call him that. He is a very good player, young, and free. I am arguing the football here, and from what i have seen he is very good at 23.
the level of certain players is romanticized a bit much at times, Rabiot is just as good as a lot of the players you have in mind when you think of quality number 8, all around mid.

I'm not being sensationalist when I say that Jonjo Shelvey is better than Rabiot.

Marotta " We've listened Perisic words and he requested to be sold. We should try to please him but also respect an asset value at same time"

He's 24 years old. Give it time. 24 as a CB is basically 15 as a forward, tbh.
