Knowing how he is like, he will jump ship the moment a better opportunity comes.

Aston Villa are probably paying him 5x more. And he prefers England over France and always has. Not surprised.

But championship might just retire him in 6 months. It's the 2nd most brutal league after PL

It's still too early to draw conclusions, but he doesn't strike me as a brilliant tactician or a good man manager. In my opinion, he falls under the same category as Neville: great pundit, dreadful manager.

I would feel sorry for him, but for the life of me, I don't understand why he picked this as his first job.

A young, failing team shorn of its best players didn't need a young, inexperienced coach to pick them up.
