Hate early matches. But i don't think i missed much.

Just saw the goal and that must be the cleanest Wele has hit in a long time.

3 wins in 3 now. Emery really takes EL seriously. I mean a kid would have sufficed at Left back today.

Our first ever win in Portugal, iirc.

Games like this are why Emery's picking a strong team. I don't think the kids/reserves would have stuck at it, and Sporting would have probably pushed harder for a result knowing that.

Now we just need to beat them at home to wrap up qualification. Then we can play the kids against Qarabag and Vorskla.

Struggled not to fall asleep during that half. Lots of possession, very few chances.

Hope Eddie gets in the 2nd half, but fully expecting Auba to come on instead to make the game safe.

Not really sure why we need to play someone as key as Torreira in a match against Blackpool at home.

It's that sort of a match where we can play 45yo Robert Pires and it won't matter.

A couple of needless fouls from Guendouzi made that a whole lot more difficult than it needed to be.

Really should be smashing Blackpool, not eking out a 2-1 win ffs.
