Arsenal's fixtures from games 3-10 are extremely easy, they have no excuse not to be in the top 3 soon and stay there. Until January when everything falls apart in typical Arsenal fashion.

Meh, the game was pretty much over when he moved him to LW
Regardless that was a wasted opportunity to allow our plan b options to get game time and confidence. You win leagues with how good your plan b is, which is why we didn't even come close last year.

Getting rolled by Gundogan and Fernandinho pivot lmao
Not happening brah, Viva la Emery IMO.
Would have preferred to give Foden his first PL start away to Arsenal than start to Gundogan. KdB at HT only thing looking forward to. Issue with Gundogan with me is his decision making is always wrong or late.
Also before the season start, I don't rate Mehrez. Turns over the ball too. Benched by September.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Wijnaldum is neat and tidy with the ball and if you make the claim he's more responsible for adding control and patience okay I can buy that.
But selling me that someone who seems incapable of breaking any line with his passes is a due to coaching and not the player himself is hard to believe. Especially since Mole said Wijnaldum had the same issues at Newcastle too.

Emery *bleep* me over with the Lacazette on the bench but then why did I assume he would start both against City?

I know they didn't have to do much today, but I like the look of Gomez-Van Dijk partnership

Agreed with everything, especially on Mahrez. He's far too slow to make decisions IMO.

My feelings exactly. Milner is dad of Liverpool, guy does hardwork week in week out to put food on table only get out loved by the hippy uncle who knows a single lame magic trick and sometimes gives candies.

Klopp wanted to sign Dahoud, We couldn't get him. So we signed Wijnaldum as the B2B replacement considering him being explosive with this runs into the box, sacrificing Henderson to the DM role which shouldn't have been done IMHO. Wijnaldum has done fine, he a good squad player for LFC nothing more.

I'm not sure whether I agree that he's incapable of that tbh.
He has not shown himseld as a great passer, that's true. But again, Klopp is using him as a tower inmidst a lot of whirlwind action, controlling balls and keeping composure, taking up a position, even if not controlling the game in a playmaking fashion with passes.

Why is 19 y/o Guenduzi starting vs City with Torreira and Elneny on the bench?

Elneny is meh and Torreira has barely had a pre season due to the WC.
The latter will soon be in the team though i imagine.

As much as meh Elneny is, he at least has some PL experience. Throwing a 19 y/o into the fire in a match like this doesn't seem like a good idea

While i agree, if he's impressed you might as well give him a go while Torreira gets fit.
You probably lose either way today So it doesn't harm much.
