Which is weird because for us it was his best attribute, arriving late to score was what he was good at
Wijnaldum's role for Klopp is to provide some sort of control.
That's why Cas's complaint about vertical passes is so off the mark.
Klopp's Liverpool never lack verticality anyway, if anything they lack control. Wijnaldum has had the ability to provide some sort of control in tough matches last season, because he's able to deal with the ball under pressure himself IMO

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
It's a good thing for Arsenal that Emery has already realised you can't play a pivot with Ramsey and Ozil
Think you have a chance to get something tbh, no De Bruyne, Sane or Silva from the start is a big deal IMO.

STURRIDGE
I want this man to have an injury-free season SO BAD, he's been on fire in pre season and Klopp said he will have a role this season

Sturridge doesn't stay fit for more than two weeks at a time, once you get loads of injuries like that the body deteriorates and it's pretty much impossible to recover.

Not that much, klopp has a boner for him for some odd reason. He'll play a great game 1 in 5 or 6.

Not idea what klopp was thinking moving him in that role at that time, pissed me off so much.

Exactly this, vs big teams he can keep the ball in tough positions which is vital, he was immense in City and Roma games, played good vs RM in the CL final, was MOTM vs Arsenal where he was toying with their midfield.

it's not actually a position fr him contrary to what Sky commentators claimed and he never played "wide in a three man attack" at Leipzig either, utter nonsense. Leipzig almost always played 4-4-2 and Keita was in the 2 man midfield exclusively
