Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Man Arsenal look bad, misplaced passes all over the place. They have had almost all their players all preseason, I would have thought hey would have gelled a bit more. Granted it is City, but City don't look as good without the likes of KDB, Sane, etc. Would have been the perfect time to capitalize and place your stamp on the first season without Wenger.
Laca has made them look a lot better since coming on so maybe I'll eat my words.

New tactics and manager take longer to adjust to after years of mismanagement and inexistent training. That wouldn't be fixed in 4 weeks of preseason.vanDEEZ wrote:Man Arsenal look bad, misplaced passes all over the place. Arsenal's defense couldn't keep out a 3 legged dog but the only person people are complaining about is Cech lol

Only need Sané or Jesus to score, hopefully from a Sane/Jesus/Mendy assist, and I'd say I'd have had an excellent Fantasy week myself

Happy Man C looking good, still not fully hitting form of course and same goes for Arsenal, but hard to see anybody being better than Man C, just look at the bench
Also Liverpool already flying. Big credit to Klopp as hes pushing for even more this season. Used to always think Liverpool is such a hard job, since there has been so much pressure from history and they expect more than they can achieve, but Klopp has definitely turned that around

I think i'm a jinx on City tbh Last time i watched them play in the league was against Man Yoo.
They were unbelievably sloppy in both games and gave the ball away constantly.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
City deservedly won but man Michael Oliver *bleep* pissed me off, missed two penalties for Arsenal and consistently sided with City in one-on-one duels, at one point Lacazette literally won the ball back high in the pitch cleanly and Oliver stopped the game twice. Infuriating because City clearly don't need any kind of help.
As for Arsenal, I didn't expect much from this game as it's our first game under Emery playing against the best side in the league who have pretty much the same side as last year plus Mahrez but there were some good signs as a team. Individually all our attacking players sucked which is unusual, Aubameyang had his first bad game for Arsenal.

What two penalties were those? the Mendy tackle on Mkhitaryan wasn't a penalty btw.
