Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
So many scrub PL teams making big money moves lol. What a time to be alive.
Interesting season. Cardiff definitely going down but other 2 spots will be interesting. Think Southampton have a weak squad and Mark hughes is a bum.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Fulham are the biggest spending just-promoted team of all time, having spent over £100m on 12 new players. They literally brought a whole new team.
They and Wolves will be mid-table without a doubt and probably mainstays in this league if they keep investing like this.
Meanwhile, I think Cardiff, Huddersfield and Southampton will go down. Cardiff are easily the weakest squad in the division and play limited football, while Huddersfield haven't strengthened much at all. Southampton have brought in a few players, but they've got nobody to score goals and lost their best creator. I don't see how they improve from last season.

Summer spending year-by-year since the transfer window was introduced 15 years ago. Drop in spending in the first window to close before the season starts. @DeloitteUK pic.twitter.com/oGd6HHYvae

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Bournemouth are ordinary but they score goals. Lower mid-table for me.
Burnley will drop a lot, I feel. Maybe not down to relegation but no where near the seventh they got last season.
Outside the top six, I see the table as:
7-10: Everton, Fulham, Wolves, Leicester
11-14: Bournemouth, Burnley, Newcastle, West Ham
15-17: Watford, Crystal Palace, Brighton
18-20: Huddersfield, Southampton, Cardiff

funny thing is, Spurs signing nobody - they'll still finish top among the London teams IMO.

Liverpool selling Ings for £18m is why I‘m still bitter about our inability to sell deadweight. £18m. For Danny Ings.

To celebrate the return of the greatest league in the world, found probably the greatest intro to a season by anyone. Sol Campbell, Sean Bean, a guy lifting a weight, I think Stan Collymore?, some skinny guy doing something, David James with dyed hair, Middlesborough got relegated, etc. The PL is back (almost).

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Not quite the 25m they wanted but it's still ridiculous. We needed a legit clear-out this summer too, only moved on Blind, admittedly for about 15m, which is alright..but eh.urbaNRoots wrote:Liverpool selling Ings for £18m is why I‘m still bitter about our inability to sell deadweight. £18m. Both our teams have had a real inability to squeeze worth out of our dead weight for years.

Our deadweight has an 11-goal PL season under their belt. Your deadweight once scored 8 goals in Greece (Joel Campbell). #plproven

STRONG finish to the transfer window from TOTTENHAM HOTTENHAMSPURS
They have added the necessary QUALITY this window
No better time to say it
#MANYEXCUSES
Absolute banter if Spurs finish top 4

Paul Merson on Watford: "I thought Nordin Amrabat was one of their best players last season, I thought he played well a lot of the time." Amrabat spent last season on loan at Leganes.

See Mignolet, Markovic and Origi go for a combined 40m at the end of the month. Klopp has made us a superpower when it comes to sales.
We got 15m for Ibe and 8m for Stewart lmfao.
