I obviously meant from when they were, it was obvious back then that eventually something like this would happen.
As much nobody neutral really wanted to accept it.

The elitism is unbelievable in the sense that Europe just lets it happen.
The only group that can break this are the players themselves as it happened with the Bosman ruling.
I mean it's not that unbelievable is it? I'm sure The most successful team in CL history winning 3 in a row is very lucrative for UEFA.
They are probably delighted by it, Porto vs Monaco finals is probably what they don't want lol.

Surely another team will come along and get 3 maybe 4 in a row again, but it will take time. As for next season, without a serious makeover, RM will struggle in LL and CL, so honestly it could be anyone- City, PSG, Barca, could all win it among others.

Those are two extremes though Mole... most often, you had very attractive finals. Leverkusen, Dortmund, Valencia, Inter, Ajax, OM, Arsenal, Milan, Man U, Bayern, Juve, Liverpool... to go along with Madrid and Barca. You literally had every elimination round game almost that was competitive.
Those were the days. That's what created football's popularity. You're going to disenfranchise a lot of fans at some point if both league and European competitions are predetermined for the most part before the start of the season. Or at least, that's my case. I used to watch a ton of football all the time... now, only the big games. It's become boring.

I still stand by my opinion that Barca were extremely lucky on their road to the CL trophy in 2015, with practically every other relevant team struggling with injuries. Sure, they had Neymar and Suarez hitting red hot form at just the right time, but no one actually posed a challenge against them and I don't believe it was due to their overwhelming quality. They won the final against an injury-ridden Juventus side that, if I remember correctly, got additional injuries in their semi-final against and injury-ridden, R. Madrid side. Won the final comfortably without even breaking a sweat. And this occured after advancing past City, PSG and Bayern, who all had injuries to key players, as well. I've always wondered why no one seemed to care about that statistically improbable streak of luck, considering how much people seem to care about it in general.

ftr barca stand no chance. friendly reminder that zidane madrid is UNDEFEATED in camp nou since he took over as manager.
if we met in a 2 leg match, Barca would need one hell of an away game to knock us out. such pressure and our own dominance in cl spell disaster for barca.
but its okay. we got to fall sometime.

Totally agree.
This was one of most boring football years ever probably.
I don't remember a surprise this year.
Every league was won by favorite team and same both for CL and EL.

Would agree with that, honestly I'm already disillusioned with it all tbh.
Although admittedly that started with Pardew so I can't blame Uefa fully.

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Real from winning CL next season?
The best way to knock us out would be in a 2 legged tie because we don't lose finals. Regarding our 3/3, that's what happens when the team is fully focused and not defending like they are forced to

That's a weird argument tbh.
You do know you lost your last 3 home games against Barcelona in the league with an overall goal difference of 2-10

They aren't consistent enough, there's a reason they keep losing before that point can even be contested.

I was gonna say I was pretty sure Barca have a better record away to Madrid than they do at home.
Even when Guardiola was there I'm pretty sure that was the case.

Yes Clasicos are always reversed for some reason. Bernabeu feels like Barcas homeground and Camp Nou like ours. Probably to do with the little noise the home fans make compared to other teams who are strong at home

The FFP is easily the worst thing ever happened in football

Just read that the next final is at Atletis ground. Was wondering what could motivate our players to do 4/4 well there we have it

I actually agree with you and said as much at the time. You can't deny that Real has been the same though.

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Real from winning CL next season?
I honestly believe Juventus can go all the way as long as we get that " top " cm and not a promising or up and coming CM. We are one kovacic/sms/pogbs/vidal away. If we sell AS and get rubbish coming in and darmian is his replacement and not actually for rotation with DS at right back then we may as well not even enter the comp next year. We cannot win the CL with khedira or marchisio as our only other technically gifted cm's apart from pjanic. Matuidi, can, bentancur more then enough cover for dm's but we only have pjanic as a top quality technically gifted cm. Khedira and Marchisio aren't relevant anymore.

Juve have no chance. Come on. Buffon is gone. Chiellinni and Barzagli are on their last leg. Higuan is in his 30s. Matuidi and Khedira as well.
That team has peaked and needs to rebuild.

Mate I know its well documented on here you hate Italian clubs lol but come on stop underrating us its stupid. Yeah fine if we sell star players and replace them with garbage or we dont add quality we have no chance but you are ignorant of our quality.
so far our starting 11 next season might look like
scz/perin
darmian-rugani/caldara-chiellini/barzagli/benatia? AS
can-pjanic-X new player/khedira
DC-dybala-higuain.
If we get a quality cm stop being ignorant and show us respect we deserve
