Even if an Italian club won the cup 3 years in a row they would still keep saying we are irrelevant anyway

Why the f would you say don't make me laugh about us? Stop being arrogant and admit this year we would have put you to the sword if it wasn't for that corrupted referee.
Ronaldo and co shat their pants until the very end so be fair and show some respect for the team that actually won that game on the pitch.

By corrupt ref, you mean Benetia letting down his entire team by fouling Lucas in the box? Jjuve did put Madrid to the sword up until that point but you seem to forget you lost at home 3-0.

don't tell me harmonica's still being detained in kiev. i get that uefadrid can't be excited about his posts towards them, but he made a mistake, i think he has learned his lesson and will not invade pitches when cristiano wants to score anymore

Surely Real's run will end after this, the old motivation thing will be VERY hard to keep up after 3 straight wins... dont think it will be possible to maintain that, not unless Zidane brings in some new players and really mixes it well to freshen things up.

so it will surely end because it's not possible to maintain such a run, but it's possible if we sign new players?BarcaLearning wrote:Surely Real's run will end after this, the old motivation thing will be VERY hard to keep up after 3 straight wins... dont think it will be possible to maintain that, not unless Zidane brings in some new players and really mixes it well to freshen things up.

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Real from winning CL next season?
Easy answer, UEFA.
It's extremely damaging for the "brand" to become a monopoly with a dominant winner. UEFA would not want a fourth Madrid win in a row.
UEFA will want a new champion next year....and I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to get Real out of the competition sooner rather than later. I can't see Real getting many favourable calls from CL refs next season, unless they take control of the situation and start negotiating with the refs themselves, as opposed to using UEFA as middlemen.
Also, for years UEFA has been trying to arrange a Classico CL final, but it has failed due to Barca mostly flopping. I expect a classico Quarter-Final next season should both teams get to the last 8. Barca on paper has the best chance of knocking Madrid out of the competition and saving UEFA and the "CL brand".

Lol we've already started putting down Atleti in the celebrations. Aint nobody capable of robbing us of the chances to win it at their ground. Boy if we did win it there I wouldn't mind going the next season trophyless. Come on ZZ save your magic for the CL por favor

You still think that penalty was not legit

Nobody with a brain thinks the penalty was not legit, just that a similar penalty would not have been called if the penalty had been commited by a Madrid player at that late stage in the game.

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Real from winning CL next season?
Only weren't in the final this year (and last year btw) because of the ref. So yeah, maybe.Kaladin wrote:-Bayern? Washed up semis team
Dominated the match until Salah was assassinated.-Liverpool? Luck of the draw
Still got enough great players to always rally. Probably need a new coaching staff though.-Barca? Terrible team, terrible coach
They made sensible transfers yet again, why not.-Juve? Don't make me laugh
They don't have the squad, or the money.-Atleti? Strong candidate with their stadium as the final, but they are losers
They could've won this season, were they not so nervous. The PL win will give them confidence, they got the squad to win it, it's just this weird phenomenon of clubs needing to "age" a bit for international torunaments.-City? Another viable candidate, Pep needs to splash 600m-800m to make it happen
Tuchel is a very good coach, and the squad has little weaknesses. Semis.-PSG? Shackled by FFP, Neymar unhappy wants to leave, beta coach with 0 trophies, OUT
Have in no way the squad to go deep.-Napoli? Maybe Ancelotti can get them going in CL, however they need reinforcements, too early to tell
Their success this year can be considered a fluke. Not a bad team by any measure, but won't get to the semis again.-Roma? No.
Agreed.-The Bundesliga teams that fnished under Bayern? No.
Similar problems to City.-Spurs? The strongest team probably, they've done it once, theycan do it again. They just need to apply pressure on them.
I think Mourinho has the will to do it, but not the squad. Maybe after the transfers are done.-United? Another possibility, Mourinho can exact revenge, if they get Bale and spend 1billion, its very possible
-Inter? Too weak a side, Madrid will crush them unless they get better players
Congratulations Real on La Fourteenthma
Meh, depends on the refs, probably, like the last two years.

I genuinely meant it and its naturally the only way to freshen things up no? Bring in new younger players to fill the gap due to the aging players and provide competition.
Not sure why some Real fans acting like every post we make are trying to provoke or we are bitter or whatever

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Real from winning CL next season?
Barca is the only one who can stop them. Too bad they are busy flopping in the quarters every year.
PSG and City have the most resources to do so, but they don't have CL DNA. They'll choke against the big 4.
Liverpool? Maybe. Then again Klopp might fail in the finals as usual.
Bayern? Bundesfodder is at its worst level in years. Absolute joke of a league. They might fare better reverting back to counterattacking football under Kovac. Still need some reinforcements though.
Juve? Even if they make it to the finals, they'll lose as per usual.
Madrid winning their 4th is more likely at this rate smh

Honestly can see PSG winning, but I'm not getting my hopes up just so Real can break them again

Would rather Real win 27 in a row than a club made relevant because of oil money provided by @Kaladin's cousin win one.

How is that better than a club made relevant because of colonies-and-slavery money provided by a fascist dictator?
Or a club made relevant because of TV-money provided by an unfair system?
