Re: Balotelli Watch - OGC Nice
I feel like the strikers weren't really an issue, its chance creation but I'm with robes, Balotelli has always been decisive in big moments
Shame that he's treated like the plague for the national side

Re: Balotelli Watch - OGC Nice
Let s be clear, for me it changed nothing with Balotelli on pitch in place of Immobile .
Italy should have played with 4-3-3 to exploit Insigne and El Shaaeawy . They are even on fire , they 'd played on their role and it was the proper system to create difficulty to tall Swedish players. Frankly unreal it was not done.
I hope just it finishes the Balotelli exile and it can have again chances as others now. Considering some names called up by Ventura ...

Balo is really a funny guy... still does very stupid things that make you want to pull your hair out. But he is actually a good guy.

Re: Balotelli Watch - OGC Nice
Where is going next? Nice president, or someone like that, said that they'll do everything to keep Balo but need european football, as otherwise they can't afford him.
The stigma in Italian papers is mostly gone and now there are always positive news about him and speculation about a return to Serie A, or his next move in general.
Last season 17 goals, scoring every 123 minutes.
This season so far 12 goals so far in league 1, 18 total. A goal every 96 minutes.
I don't know how expensive his wages so are so not sure which clubs are in the mix for him. Napoli or Torino could use him.

Re: Balotelli Watch - OGC Nice
Balotelli scores his 14th goal with Italy (in 34 apps!) and becomes the 21st scorer in the history of Italy, alongside Ballon d’Or Gianni Rivera and twice World Champion Giovanni Ferrari

The last think I would ever imagine was that I would get emotional and cry for a Balotelli goal during a friendly v Saudi Arabia

Need Milan to bring him home for the 7th time

Italy would have qualified for the WC if he played the last few matches in qualifications tbh

About time he's been given another chance. Only one who I would have faith that can produce at the biggest stage from Italy's attackers.

Re: Balotelli Watch - OGC Nice
Storybook tale as it is that he returns to Lombardia and that being my favourite town in Italia & second favourite Italian club;
The last thing I want is another weekly Balotelli drama that he has a strong penchant to cause given the attention whore he is and what he draws.
Yes he is not half as relevant anymore in what has been a staggeringly wasted career in ratio to his talent, but I rather hear more of his goals and what excited us rather than his less favoured on & off field antics.
I do not miss him at Milan at all.
