no chance of death stranding gameplay. Another cryptic trailer probably.

And agreed about the low-key E3. MS have nothing to show so expect halo 7. Oh and another video of how powerful Xbox One X is

Ubisoft might show some stuff since they always have new games. Most likely Watch dogs 3.

Sony will show trailers of announced games. Already hearing days gone and TLOU2 trailers being there. More trailers for Ghost of Kojima and the new from soft game too i imagine.

I just want some details on the new Fromsoft game, I'm not that hype for E3 this year tbh. Probably because it feels that all of the major studios are still tied up with big upcoming releases, think it will be pretty low-key by its own recent standards.

Depends what you are looking for i suppose.

In terms of new announcements you might be right, but i think they'll be loads stuff we hardly know anything about with gameplay ( Last of Us 2 and that Samarai game are possiblities here IMO)

Also this is the first time where i think From's new game actually showing up is possible. I'd be quite surprised if their game isn't there.

Although in terms of content i'm expecting a big show tbh, main reason is because this is probably the last E3 before they start talking about new consoles( i'm expecting those to release in 2020) so they kind of need to show these games off.

There's just loads of games we know have been worked on and most likely they need to be released sooner or later and i expect the large majority ( except for Death Stranding) are 2019 at the latest.

Imo they should announce that after spyro remastered hits the shelves, they're going to make more ones like that trilogy, discount everything that happened after #3 and E3 will be the best of all time

Not sure if those 4 deep dives are the games listed or 4 other unnamed games as i didn't listen to the podcast they did to announce this as i just copied and pasted the info lol.

Assuming that it is the 4 games listed we should be seeing gameplay for those 4 games ( or in Spiderman's case just more gameplay lol)

“The last two or three years, if you were a careful observor, you’ll see that we continue to try to refresh and remake and reignite what we do at what used to be called the press conference for E3,” Layden said on the PlayStation Blogcast. “We want to make sure that it’s fresh and that it reflects the kind of stories we’re telling and the new entertainment we have to give to our fans—not just at the event, but worldwide through the live stream.

“So today I would just like to talk about helping people understand where we’re going with the E3 event this year, and I’ll just come right out and say it. E3 this year will feature exclusive looks and deep dives on four upcoming titles—four of our big titles… We have great content. We have fantastic updates. I think everyone will be thrilled to see it. And we’re taking kind of a different angle on how we’re bringing it out.

“And just as a reminder, those titles are going to be Death Stranding from Kojima Productions—we’ve got a complete new report for everybody around what’s happening with that title. A year ago we introduced the new Sucker Punch title, Ghost of Tsushima, so we’re going to go a deep dive into where the team is at on that—it’s going to be fabulous. From Sucker Punch and their great successes with the inFAMOUS franchise, for them to take on Ghost and all the ambition around that, you will not be disappointed when you see it.

“Of course, there’s our partnership with Insomniac Games and their title Marvel’s Spider-Man. You’ll have seen some of that coverage recently, but we’re going to have a new drop for everybody at E3, at the media event, and you’ll be blown away, it’s going to be awesome… The fab four of the event that we’re going to be having is of course going to be the sequel to The Last of Us from Naughty Dog, we’ll have a full new scope of treatment on that, show you the progress of the game, give people a better understanding of where we’re going with Part II. We’re really excited about it, it’s going to be a very strong centerpiece to all of those four titles we were just talking about.”

Asked if that is all we are going to see, Layden replied, “No, there will be others. We’ll have some announcements with our third-party publishing partners, we’ll have some news things to talk about there, as well as you know, our continued support for independent development—we’ll throw some highlight of that. But as chairman of Worldwide Studios, please forgive me if I take this mic moment so I can generate even greater excitement to look forward to E3.”

So yeah the 4 deep dives as they call it is for TLOU 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman and Death Stranding.

Hyped for Death Stranding gameplay tbh.

Inb4 it's behind the scenes look at how many pixels Kojima is demanding from each scene.

Think you are reading way too much into it tbh, they might not but they are not going to announce that ahead of time.

They just announced they are going to show stuff about big games they already announced.

This announcement doesn't really mean anything for possible announcements as for Days Gone I'm gonna assume it's because it's they are showing shit tonnes of footage atm as Gameinformers cover story.

There's an hour and 45 minutes of footage up on Gameinformers website atm with more to come.

So, apparently Canadian Walmart somehow managed to accidentally leak a bunch of upcoming titles in their pre-order listings. It hasn't been confirmed that these games are actually in the making. In fact, it's highly unlikely that Forza Horizon 5 will be out soon, considering Forza Horizon 4 hasn't been released, already. That said, Bethesda have since confirmed that they're actually working on Rage 2, so there may be some truth to it.

By the way, have any of you played Darksiders 2? It came with last month's batch of free PS plus games. I only just started playing it. It's surprisingly good. It reminds me a bit of vintage GoW.

Yeah this is a pretty good bet tbh, wouldn't be surprised to see some DLC from other stuff as well.

Rage 2, Doom 2 and Starfield is pretty realistic for new stuff.

Let's say it had potential but failed to realise it, i'm more intrigued than excited tbh.

Wouldn't be the first game to have potential and then a sequel realises it.
