Almost near the end of my Witcher saga (B&W at the moment) which has taken me a year to go through from time constraints and being the compulsive completionist that CDPR would want me to be.

Yet I cannot state the sadness I feel in almost leaving the Witcher world and could not imagine for the ones who even played One & Two (I began from Three but dove in). So obviously not the common case of vicarious living that some gamers have yet it is fascinating how pixels can have that effect on one and Kaer Morhen summarizes that to a T.

Best game of all time, Mole proved me wrong.

Geralt for me is easily amongst the best characters in media history if not the best. Making your own character is lifeless & cheap. I rather play as one who is crafted and not the illusion of it. If Netflix miscasts Geralt if not fails on capturing the essence of Witcher I wont be happy.


CDPR is truly a gem and I truly support Cyberpunk 2077 with all my heart and due to them alone.

B&W is so awesome.

BTW i'm not sure if i ever asked you but what did you think of Gaunter O'Dimm

B&W was great and all but Hearts of Stone has hands down the best story between both DLCs and the main game.

I'm proud that CDPR is from Poland, at least we have that

Been meaning to replay the game for the first time, it's looking at me from the shelf but I just can't get to it.

There was one quest that glitched out for me during first playthrough and I wanted to play it so bad, have to get to it this time around.

HoS has the best quest line and villain.

BaW has much better side quests, more interesting gameplay additions and obviously the world is amazing

They both do different things exceedingly well.

The Witcher 3 is likely the best game I’ve ever played. There are probably games I’ve enjoyed more, and It’s not a perfect game, but it’s objectively speaking the most «polished» and substantial game I’ve ever witnessed. In that sense, it’s closer to perfection than anything else I’ve seen.

Tbh it kinda ruined playing games for me because others feel so inferior and not nearly as enjoyable. So I basically only play FIFA now lol

Patiently waiting for RDR2, Cyberpunk and TLOU Part II .... and Life Is Strange ofc

in the meantime i'm gonna catch up on the Uncharted series and Heavy rain in between FIFA sessions

My thoughts on O'Dimm the same as all. Very interesting villain. Excellent dialogue, huge presence and left us aching for more despite how utterly satisfactory HoS was. He perfectly fit into the signiture tightly woven dialogue and used him best as they could unlike the underused Dettlaff and Eredin. The sheer implication of what he is utterly terrifying.

Personal favorite from HoS was actually Olgierd who was fleshed out more and a very deep and tragic character. That whole battle scene and introduction to his real side remains etched into my mind for all time in its style and direction.

I too liked David beckham in HoS

Yeah he's a great character, the quest involving Iris is one of my favourites in the entire game tbh.

that fight with the shadows was great. Specially on death march

Tried not to mention the blatant Becks resembelance given how obvious it is but its so true. Painted world was indeed a cinematic and story telling showcase as was anything involving Olgierd.

Points are right that the game has spoiled most video games for me given the bar is set so high as I feel anyone outside of me should spend their time only on the top tier class of such video games given the questionable use of time.

Don't even know what would be next for me if ever.

Now there is an idea along with experiencing all of Naughty Dog's visual based powerhouses.

PS4 remaster too so will gear to this game then given all I keep hearing about it.

God of War is one of the best games of this gen imo. Definitely play that if you have time.

I agree with m99 tbh, my top 3 this generation is Witcher 3, God of War and Persona 5.

Code Vein pushed back to 2019 lel, I thought it looked kinda shoddy from gameplay they revealed

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Spider-Man, Hitman 2 all on my list aside RDR 2. Gonna be broke ffs. Will prolly buy most of em on Black Friday.
