I knew that would catch your attention. You've almost exclusively played Souls games over the past two years, like an old man clinging to his love for Jazz music and writing off everything else as garbage, yet you complain about something being months old Rolling Eyes

It's my most anticipated game of the year by FAR.

Actually hoping RDR2 gets delayed till late this year.

I can understand why you would RG, but tbh while the settings are great i find the game very boring to play.

Same reason why i'm not buying the new one, i just find the games very cookie cutter mechanically.

I've never played a far cry game other than few hours here or there at a friend's.

Seems that type of game where you can explore stuff for a while and have fun.

All true it is, trouble is i have zero imagination Laughing

Unless an Open World game is mechanically making me explore the world through whatever means i get bored of them pretty quickly.

Games like Far Cry where your fun usually comes from you thinking of cool things to do i get bored of.

Far Cry 4 is alright. The older iterations didn't feel as shallow and repetitive, the newer ones have larger maps, but are unimaginative and seem to offer far less content aside from one or two gimmicks and redundantly large maps. Interesting settings, but barebones gameplay and bland/hollow places to explore outside of the beaten path seem to be a recurring themes in Ubisoft's more recent open world games.

I highly doubt they've learnt their lesson, but yeah, I've been told by several people that Origins is a surpringly good game. Hopefully, they'll stick to the 2 year development cycle and not revert to the yearly one.

I kind of agree, Black Flag was good too so the specific developers probably just know what they are doing.

Rather than a Ubisoft wide change in approach.

Looking at gameplay vids, the setting looks great but everything else looks the same. Don't really have a problem with it, loved 3, liked 4, skipped Primal so I'm not fatigued with the franchise.

) and I know how great of a year it is for gaming.

already bored of MHW to the point I think I'm done with it, got 35 hrs out of it though which I guess is alright, but I can't see myself playing long term which is what the end game is based around, min-maxing your gear so I don't see a point in playing
