Looks great tbh but unlike with the original i'd like to get some co-op in this time tbh.
Definitely. I'm not actually really into Borderlands but my brothers are. I never played through the full thing, so my goal is to do that before Borderlands 2 comes out. Then me and my twin bro are going to go to town on that game.
Great game, dunno why I never finished the full thing. There are tons of games I need to play still. Still need to go through Bioshock 1 and 2 and finish teh story for GTA IV.
I need more time!!!

Dishonored released today in the US... thinking about getting it tomorrow, along with the new Pokemon game.

I know someone who does game reviews, and this guy tells me that Dishonored is a strong contender for game of the year, already. I think I might buy it when it comes out, next week.

Dishonored looks like a spiritual successor to Bioshock.
Never has a FPS adventure gave you as much freedom as Dishonored does since Bioshock.
Will definitely pick it up i'm just not sure when.

Re: Upcoming Video Games
Borderlands 2 is more of a open world RPG in the first person view tbf.....
I also i forgot about Deus Ex: Human Revolution but in the main this generation has been full of single player FPS which takes the control away from you and very linear.
I think that's why Bioshock was so highly rated in the first place because you play it in so many different ways and you was in control.
That and the atmosphere and story actually bring you into the world and make you feel apart of it.
From the gameplay i have watched so far which is quite a lot tbf this seems to be similar.

Re: Upcoming Video Games
I honestly didn't like the feel of Bioshock so I never got into that game.
I do like the look of Dishonored though, but probably not gonna kick out 60 bucks for it when it comes out. I reserve that type of dough for FIFA and AC III.
Also want to try Halo 4. Should be interesting to see what the new developers have done post-Bungie.

Yeah i'm feeling you on that, i'm interested in Hitman and Dishonored but i'll probably wait until around christmas or new year and try get a cut price deal on the both of them.
Pre-ordered AC3 though, can't wait for that it looks great.

Re: Upcoming Video Games
I'm really considering trading Fifa 13 in for Dishonored or keeping it until Hitman and trading it in for that.
Don't like the game at all instead of collecting dust i might as well get rid of it for something i will actually enjoy.

Will do, though it may be a few days before I get the chance to check it out in depth... I have a couple of exams between now and Friday.

Or you can sell it to Mtfootball. He likes it so much, that I'm sure he'd be happy to have two copies of the game I've played FIFA 13 twice, since I picked it up from the store on the day of it's release. I don't think it's a bad game, or anything, it just doesn't have that addictive feeling of wanting to pick it up as soon as I have some time on my hands. I've had the day off of work today, and I didn't feel like playing FIFA 13, so I picked up MW3 instead... another game that has grown increasingly boring after about a year of playing it. I have all of the DLC maps for MW3, but they aren't exactly impressive.

Re: Upcoming Video Games
LMAO.
Personally i have found most multiplayer shooters increasingly boring.
I have gone full circle with games tbh, i'm back to playing the single player stuff with story i can enjoy.
Well apart from Gears anyway

Re: Upcoming Video Games
battlefield 3 MP...
best shooter game ever
i have played countless fps games out there
none comes close to bf3..
there isnt a single player game worth playing at the moment at least for me well apart from fifa 13's career
i will definetely try hitman absolution and gta v though

Re: Upcoming Video Games
Hit this shot in Search & Destroy earlier today. Just 10 seconds later, I received a message. Unsurprisingly, he was insulting my mother and called me a hacker

Re: Upcoming Video Games
Hacking is one thing, i used to get that all the time when i use to play cod 4 and mw2 but the mother thing is way over the line.... but i can't say i'm surprised.
As for BF3 i don't enjoy it, i liked BF2, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield:Bad Company 2 but BF3 i just don't enjoy.
I seem to enjoy 3rd person shooters more than first person these days.
The only real first person shooters i enjoy these days are single player and quite frankly more action/adventure or RPG with shooting elements in them.
It probably has something to do with all the companies trying to do out do each other in the shooter market leading to similar games and over saturation so i have grown tired of them.

I agree, to some extent. I still like FPS games, or Call of Duty, to be more specific. The battlefield games are too slow-paced for my liking. I wish Treyarch and Infinity Ward would at least put some effort into adding completely new features and making their games feel more different from each other, but that doesn't seem to be on their list of priorities. At least, not if they risk losing their mainstream consumers in the process. They do update something in every new release, but they're still playing it relatively safe.
Regardless, I have bought their games every year for the past 3 or so years now, and I'm guilty of enjoying their lack of originality or ingenuity. New weapons, new maps, new perks.. that's pretty much all that's needed to keep me entertained for months. Being able to play with friends online also extends the longevity of their games. The creative developers behind CoD don't exactly blow my mind with each new addition to their games, but I still feel like I get what I pay for.
I'm a big fan of RPGs and FPS RPGs, but they're too time demanding, and I'm a completionist

Re: Upcoming Video Games
In terms of FPS's...I recently have turned the clocks back to Halo 3. It's good to be back too
Although I don't play it too much, I'm not a huge fan of FPS's honestly. More of an RPG man myself. Still need to pick up Borderlands 2 though...

Re: Upcoming Video Games
Speaking of MMORPGs....been playing a lot of DC Universe Online....great game.
If the upcoming Elder Scrolls MMORPG is anything like this one and less like Old Republic, then that should be a good buy as well.

Re: Upcoming Video Games
Gave up on DC Universe about two weeks after getting the GL powers. It's just not much fun without people to play with. I guess I'm just not much on MMO's as I don't like to play with strangers.
