Napoli have the squad, but not the experience. Shakhter are weaker than they once were, but that probably won't make the Donbass any easier to go to in the winter.

I see no reason why Napoli can't get max points from Feyenoord while beating Shakhtar at home and perhaps managing a draw away. I think they'll lose away to City, but a draw at home may be enough to keep them 2nd. A win at the Etihad could get them 1st if the other results cooperate. Certainly a better chance of progressing than we do.

need to take away 2 spots from Serie A IMO, give them to the Uzbekistan league or something, they would do better than any club not named Juve from Italy

I read somewhere that Feyenoord had not lost at home in 18 months? Does anyone know how accurate that is?

@zigra

Nvm I think they did lose 1 or 2 matches.

Great game from City. Pep continues a strong run of form for City.

Probably league form these 18 months as they didn't lose a league game at home last season. Lost a home game in the EL last December though which must've been the last time before yesterday.

Let's hope for many more games like that to follow and a group exit with 6 losses.

I watched the highlights and it was more bad Feyenoord than good City tbh Laughing

They looked like they were playing a random team down the park. Can only beat what's in front of you but it was shockingly bad how easy it was for them to get chances.

With AC + Inter having rich owners now, Serie A clubs should be respectable in UCL again in the near future. the likes of Napoli, Roma will be demoted to Europa where they belong among the sub-top teams there.

Indeed.

How unfair of us to limit them to 28% of possession at their own ground but if that's the new "average" then I'll just have to get used to it.

No shame in Napoli losing away to Shahktar. Donbass is still a rough place to get points from, especially if it's not an elite club.

Insigne was 100% the reason why Napoli lost. Guy is a Miccoli level player at best who thinks he is on par with Del Piero.

'Napoli are a top side, CL dark horses, play some of the best football in Serie A'

now

'don't worry Milan and Inter have chinese money, Napoli will soon be where they belong and stop embarrassing Serie A'

face it, besides Juve the league is on par with Ligue 1 quality wise

Apparently if you lose any CL match at any time, you're no longer a good team.

We must remember this rule for future match days. It's amazing really, we'll be able to hand out all trophies by December Proud

Well if you're out of CL by December, that's the time the trophies are handed out in that you don't get one
