In the world of the bus parker any team that manages to string more than 5 passes together in the opponents half of the field is domination.

WTF
What a whiny petulant child
This is what happens when you dont beat your kids, lads
Really woeful Spanish referees but luckily they don't officiate in England all that much so you don't get pissed off with them.

breva wrote:2-2 would have been the fair result. With VAR, the handball would have been called and there would have been another penalty for Napoli. But, I think Napoli supporters would rather have Napoli out of European play altogether as they want to win the Scudetto this year.
For me the fairest result was the City to destroy Napoli.
They were luckly to not be under 4-0 after 1H

Hell with fair results, can we dispell this nonsense about handballs
It wasn't even close lol, you either need to watch it again or get your eyes tested.
2:10 it hits him in the knee lmao.

Can i just say i like how easy it to get highlights for CL games
Wish the PL was as easy to find, instead of going through endless taken down videos due to copyright.

Regardless of how eh... well Napoli done in periods, City absolutely shafted them and I'm not buying into any 'shoulda coulda been 2-2' because the far more likely alternate result would've been at least 3-0 probably more.

Its the same logic tbh, just different ends. Funny enough if this was in Serie A, then they probably would've been VAR'd another penalty. Unlucky for Napoli that Insigne came off hurt. The result is just, how are you going to drop Jorginho and Allan in a match like this? That's the problem with teams like these in the CL from Italy. Its reminiscent of Udinese taking the fourth spot all those years ago, I would like to say they, on their own, lost Italy's fourth spot but the truth is it was the complacency of the other Italian team that allowed them
The rest of Europe gets up for these matches, Napoli drop two players central to their playing style

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group F
Yes dropping 2/3rds of your midfield is retarded in the CL.
I get it, they want a league. But in the long run constant brand exposure in the CL knockouts is how they'll become an elite club. Not a standalone league title. Ask Leicester.

In the EL I think it's fine.
Imagine dropping players in the CL because you want a league title that Juve will win by mid December

City 9
Shakhtar 6
Napoli 3
Feyenoord 0
I refused to believe Napoli is out of contention. The home games against City and Shakhtar can turn things around.

City XI | Ederson, Danilo, Delph, Otamendi, Stones, Fernandinho (c), Gundogan, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Aguero
Napoli XI vs. City: Reina, Hysaj, Koulibaly, Albiol, Ghoulam, Allan, Jorginho, Hamsík (c), Callejón, Mertens, Insigne
Full strength Napoli vs Rotation City. Not sure why Pep is resting players for Arsenal at home instead of securing 1st place with a win tonight. So that we can send the kinds to Ukraine in Dec.
Mole and other unbelievers will be humbled by Gundogan performance tonight.

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group F
while they haven't looked as threatening as City did in the opening 20 mins in the previous game, they have made City look like training cones out there. Wonder if City will step it up like Napoli did in the first game too. Very impressed atm.

Any feyenoord fans here wanna explain to me why Tapia is playing CB? He's been a beast for Peru at CM/DM. Hasn't played CB since Peru U-20 days

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group F
What a team Napoli
I have been super impressed with their thrashings of the Benvento's and SPAL's
Let's not get distracted by this insignificant result. This is just a training game for them so they can prepare themselves for the all important weekend game against Vicenza and display their beautiful brand of football
Sarri is a genius. Running out of praises for him
