I woild love Martial at this point. But doubt we'll get anyone.

It hasn't seemed like Martial is in Mourinhos plans so if we could loan with an option to buy I would take that for 30-45m.

He's a player who at least has the capacity to cover all 3 forward positions, that could be an asset. However he hasn't really proved anything since leaving Monaco

You don't compare the fee/wages of midfielders with strikers unless the midfielder is Zidane or someone of similar ilk.

You may not compare wages but I definitely certain the likes of Isco, Kroos, Modric and Casemiro would compare. Also, a suitable successor to Benzema would be any good striker at the moment.

I've never been so burnt out on a transfer saga. I might have been the biggest Mbappe supporter but I have thrown in the towel. I still think he's a great player and if RM can get him for the right price then great, but I won't be fussed in the slightest if he goes to PSG.

Maybe he will stay at Monaco for another season, that might be good for him to experience L1 differently with Monaco more likely to struggle.

As bad as Bale and Benzema are, they at least want to play for Madrid and aren't having their heads turned by the first wiff of a bigger paycheck. Mbappe seems like he's just in it for the fattest paycheck possible- more power to him- but RM don't seem too keen on meeting Mbappes or Monacos ridiculous demands, and for that I respect RM. the market has gotten out of hand and at this point it's best for the market to not engage.

PSG and City are elite teams. If you get paid 2x and still get to play for an elite team, you're stupid if you don't take it.
