What are your guys' thoughts on his comparison with Neymar, who do you feel like is the better prospect, young Mbappe, or young Neymar?

Similar players but Mbappe for me as of now.  He's tooling CL and Ligue 1 as opposed to Neymar in a lesser league at the age of 18 for both.  Neymar showed his stuff on the international stage when he was 19 and truly when he turned 20.

Mbappe is a better finisher regardless.  Just a natural goalscorer.  Neymar is a better dribbler.

Both are fantastic.

Now that Bernardo Silva is gone are we more or less likely to sign Mbappe?

nothing has changed, Monaco are in business. If the player says he wants to go and we meet Monaco asking price he is gone.

It's not 1 successful run.  They made CL quarters 2 years ago too and beat Arsenal in the round of 1/8.  Met Juve in the quarters and lost 1-0 at Monaco and drew 0-0 in Turin. The team was 50% different then too as the attack was Martial/Berbatov. Carrasco was on the wing. Toulalan/Moutinho were the mids. Kurzawa/Fabinho were the fullbacks. Raggi/Abdenour were the CBs.

They know what they're doing.  They are what Porto used to be 15 years ago in terms of scouting and picking players.  They already signed Tielemans from Anderlecht for 25 mil and Jordy Gaspar from Lyon (their prize youth fullback).  About to pillage Ligue 1 young talent too.

They also have 4 kids waiting in the wings that are going to be very good imo....  Jorge (21 year old CB from Brazil), Boschilia (21 yo AM from Brazil), Adrien Bongiovanni (17 yo AM they picked off from Standard Liege a couple of years ago) and Ivan Cordona (19 yo pure 9 CF).

Falcao wants to stay.  Germain is going to be there.  Moutinho as well.  Glik.  Subasic.  Raggi and Jemerson.

They are going to be fine.  Going to make it out of group stage of CL again as long as Jardim stays.  They have a very good system going.

I read that Mbappe was average the first half season then he really lit up the second half season. I think sportsczy watches Monaco games (I think he was a Monaco fan too? or was it Marseille? don't remember) so can you confirm?

He was never average... he came in and destroyed everything in sight. Scored 4 goals and dished out 1 assist in his first 2 games as a starter last season. Scored a hat trick in his second game as a regular.

He was phenomenal from the first moment.

Bojan was never a world beater, just a talent youngster who benefited from playing in a team that was superior than many. There was a specific reason he got shipped out while Barcelona kept buying different forwards.

I think it says alot about his mentality. He wants a full guarantee that he is coming as a starter

Mbappe pretty much hinted that he's moving somewhere this summer... but it didn't sound like it was necessarily Real Madrid. In fact, my instinct tells me he's not going to a team where his status as a regular is in doubt.

I wouldn't be surprised. Pep was complaining all of last season how poor City was at converting their chances. Hence, he wants to add another goalscorer. IIRC he pretty much said something like:

"If you want speed on the wings, you buy a pacy winger. If you want goals, you buy a goalscorer."

It's either going to be Mbappe or Alexis IMO.
