I think Crash might have gotten harder in general

The added relic's have absurd time limits too. I'm trying to get the first colored gem on Crash 1 (second island), really hard.

Heard it's impossible to get gold relics. Everyone been complaining about that.

People are forgetting how well known Crash was for difficulty spikes tbh.

But personally stuff like that is vital for platformers though, I don't usually care for other types of games but the challenge of learning the mechanics and the level is part of it all.

It's why I love the Donkey Kong Country games but don't really like Mario platformers, don't get me wrong they are a masterclass in level design and controls which still stand up today but they lack the challenge required for me.

I'm scared

I've spent a looong time getting the first colored gem, now I'm 1 box shy at the end of the level but there is a hard jump and a lizard right at it that pushes you over. I died here last time...

The Last Guardian is a great platformer. The camera issues were wayyy overblown but it was frustrating when Trico did not do the things you ordered him to. Found out later there button prompts to make Trico do specific stuff but the game never tells you smh.

Other than beautiful game. Of course being a Ueda game visuals and art is beautiful and the relationship between Trico and the boy was 10/10. Reminded me of my dog so much Feels when Trico goes through the eye mirrors to save the boy. Best platformer I played in years.

Yea can't wait to go back to it.

Don't really consider Last Guardian a platformer tbh, it's like calling Uncharted or Assassins Creed a platformer really.

Also i don't consider it a great one either, that's fine though because it does other things better.

same dude the only reason I found out about it was because I was looking something up online about it fairly early and saw the commands, that's why I never really struggled with getting Trico to do what he was supposed to, it's a failing of the game for sure because I see so many people online getting mad and calling the game a buggy mess with regards to Trico's AI because they don't know how to get it to move and get stuck in sections for 20+ mins

camera issues were def overblown too and I didn't mind the controls either since I played SOTC

This is exactly why I hated the new cod the most. Paid 2 win weapons is *bleep* bullshit. Will not buy it now.

For WAW2 I won't get it either unless it's cosmetic like cod4

I did say my literal only concern is micro transactions being pay to win.

But we don't really know either way atm.

The footage is from an alpha build with hardly any actual stuff that will be in the full game(I mean there's like a handful of star cards lol)and we don't know how fast it will take to actually level up points without paying.

Most of the videos made on the subject are just click bait because there's no proof it will be pay to win and there's no proof it won't be either.

There isn't pay to win weapons.

There's star cards (think like upgraded versions) of things like grenades etc.

Imagine if in Battlefront 1 you could upgrade the grenade or jet pack etc straight away.(if you get lucky in a loot box anyway)

Right now as it is you can pay to get them faster as I understand it, but seeing as you can unlock things like that just by playing I don't see it being a massive advantage.

But as I said we'll see, there's no real proof either way because the alpha doesn't provide enough content or information to know how pay to win it is.

I used spear entirely throughout the game, easily most boring weapon but was OP at the time lol
