Bayern definitely aren't as good as they've been the last couple of years, but neither are Madrid. No one left has been actually. Incredibly tough to call this tie. Bookies have Bayern as favourites but I can't pick a team here. Exactly which version of these teams are gonna show on game day? The winner of this tie though should be the odds on favourite for the cup imo. And while Barca are currently the bookmakers favs atm, I think everyone is completely underestimating Juve. They get past Barca and I think they'll go all the way.

I feel sorry for our defence against Bayern. No absolute fcking way they don't score at least a goal

Really really pessimistic about our chances of going through. We can't keep a clean sheet to save our lives. By hook or by crook the ball always ends up in our net one way or the other. And with the form Bayern is in we'd be lucky we'd be lucky if we were still in this tie by the end of the first game

Hans, is losing Hummel a huge issue for Bayern because losing Pepe is probably as big of a loss as it gets for Madrid. I mean, I like Nacho but I can honestly see him getting manhandled by Lewa. And Marcelo vs Robben is gonna be enjoyable. For you.

Since my preferred starting pair woud have been Javi-Boateng anyway, I think Pepe might be a bigger loss than Hummels, expecially since I personally don't rate Nacho at all, based on my limited knowledge of him.
However, Boateng is a yellow card away from a suspension and then we're back again with Alaba as CB.

It's certain though that Javi-Hummels was Carlo's choice as Hummels was explicitly rested againt BVB in order to be fresh for Wednesday and Javi taken off earlier.

Ramos is one yellow away from suspension too which could see Casrmiro dropping down to become a makeshift CB. Ramos getting a yellow is a guarantee so I hope ZZ is planning for a return leg without him
